This Camera is so good i can watch my children and pets when im away,I used it as a form of communication because my children dont like to answer my call so i just yell across the camera and they listened

We purchased 1 of these then we purchased 3 more and placed it all over our house, you can talk to, so if you placed it in the kids room, you can easily talk to them. What I like about this you can easily turn the lenses and look all around the room on the app. Picture quality is perfect and worth every penny. It also has recording capacity.

These are great for in the house if you just want an inexpensive way to monitor. They are great for watching pets! I move mine around remotely and the cat comes running to sniff it. And the monitor plan is really inexpensive.

Great bit of kit. Bought this item as we want to keep an eye on the kids with their new bunk beds. Easy to set up on multiple devices. We use this on our ipad and also when the misses is in work she gets to talk to the kids at bedtime from work. Well worth the money amd the kids love being able to talk to us if they are playing in their room. Picture is crisp amd sound is great

I waited several months to review to give an honest opinion. I purchased this to keep an eye on my furbaby while I am at work. I tell you for the price, this item is well worth it! Night vision is superb. It detects motion and sound. Of course you have to adjust it individually so it doesnt record a sneeze. But it is 2 min settings set up. The motion is so good that at first I thought I had a ghost in my home because it would activate when we were asleep. After better inspection, the reason behind it was that a dust bunny had floated in front of the camera Haha...the picture quality is not exceptional, but it is good for the price. Picture is color during the day with black and white during night vision. Talking about the price, you can purchase one for each room! Which I have plans to do. I just ordered one to send to my mom so I can make sure she is fine. Wifi is required for this camera. I did buy an added microchip only because I didnt know if I would need it or not. I love this item! It has come in handy when maintenance men have come into my home. I have used it to help my kids find something in my room that I need. I have used it to tell my furbaby to stop barking at the squirrel.. haha.. the only negative I feel is that the cord is short at 9 ft. therefore I can not screw to the top of the wall. I do not use the cloud although it is an option.

I got it to keep an eye on my gecko at night but we decided it would be best to use as a security cam. It detects movement every time our neighbors cross in front of it, which we realized they do WAY too much lol. We have two cats, which one likes to state into the soup of the camera and the other thinks it might taste like ice cream. The human detected mode also triggers on the cats when they get into the window, and we tease the cats about it. I haven't tried the nightvision since our outside light illuminates the area and cancels the night vision. The turning of the camera is a bit slow, maybe because of our internet? Not sure, but if you press the arrow on the app too much it will continue to move for a while. I usually tap the button one at a time until I get it just right. Other than that, it works great. The two way talk is fun. When my husband freaks out over a video game it detects it as abnormal sound which we laugh about. So far worth the price. Not sure why there's so many negative reviews.

First off, I'm a Director of IT for a healthcare company, we have 17 sites in three cities all networked together flawlessly, and have worked in the It field for 25+ years, so this review is coming from a plethora of experience. This camera is poorly designed, I expected cheap (it was purchased to watch a dog), but the software, and camera design is inexcusable. First, the design flaw, the "reset" button is useless, it is under the camera "orb", between the bottom of the orb and the rotational housing/case. If you do not have 100% control over the camera, it cannot be reset, ever as it is "at rest" underneath the camera with a few mm space between the camera and the housing. Yet, in the set up instructions they say " if you have trouble, reset the camera and try again", which is impossible to do.The second thing is, The app you use to connect to the camera allows you to connect to the camera, but then uses some mystical "audio transfer" of your wireless configuration to the camera to complete the network set up. Rather than letting you enter your SSID/network name, and the password, your completely at the mercy of a poorly written API to work with a tone deaf camera. I've never heard of such nonsense in my life, and I've set up and manage a million dollar network for a living. If the API can communicate with the camera, there is no reason to not allow you to configure the camera for your wireless network, but there it is, you cant. Finally the app provided is faulty, it provides a wireless signal tester that's crap and downplays your wireless strength. Like I said I work in IT, I have many nifty apps on my phone for my job, including multiple paid apps to evaluate wireless signals, signal strength , channels etc, My wireless dual band router is 15' line of sight away from the mounting area, with nothing but open air between the two devices and the app claimed the network signal was horrible, while every other app I have has me at full bars, no Db loss and excellent transfer on both Bands. They've loaded the app to put the fault of poor performance on the consumer. be warned.... do not buy
