You can spend four times this on a blade, and it might last twice as long. I've accidentally cut a fair bit of hardened steel on this (bedframe) and it didn't dull it any noticeable amount. It seems that in the first few hours a few teeth will break off, or something happens that causes a noticeable rhythm to the blade, but it keeps cutting fine long after that.

Haven't had a chance to try the blade yet. Haven't even setup the saw. Too much going on right now. Will come back and rate after I get a chance to try it out.

I still use a HF bandsaw around the shop for cutting metal stock. I’ve gone though several blades over the years and and picked up a couple of these as my latest replacements. The seem to work OK. I’ve found they definitely work better when running the saw at its lowest speed. Also, I think these blades are probably too coarse for cutting thin walled stock. They work fine for heavier just 1/8” or more though. These are a pretty good deal. I’m sure there are others that might be better but these are great for the price.

Less expensive than other brands and works great on our saws. This brand we have been using for years of course does its job.The only reason one star less is hopefully it can last longer.

I gave a 2 rating on the blade because it broke right where it was weld after cutting just a few mild steel pieces. I gotta give it to the seller though. After contacting them about it, they sent me a new one pretty quick & appologized for it so it's 5 star to them for fast response & shipping. I think it may have just been a grind issue because the blade was thinner in the area where it was welded. The new one i just got is ground very little & i've already cut more with it with no problems at all. For the price, it's an excellent blade, sharp & cuts better than the more expensive blades i've had in the past. I'd recommend it for sure & will be buying more.

I've been using this blade on HF saw, the original blade didn't last very long. I purchased this one based on positive reviews and now I want to add to the positive reviews.I cut a lot of steel, from 1/8 - 1/4 flat bars, to 2x2 square tubing with 1/4" wall. I've cut hundreds of cuts before I changed the blade. In fact, the blade I took out was still cuttings, I just noticed it was taking slightly longer and I figured it's already more than paid for itself, it time for it to retire.Part of the reason I'm getting a lot of cuts is because I use cutting fluid on all my cuts. If you cut dry, it will not last as long.

I have been doing custom metalwork for about 15 years. When I first started out in 2005, I purchased bandsaw blades from Harbor Freight. It seem like they were always breaking at this place, even though the teeth were still very sharp. I decided to upgrade and purchased blades from Grainger at twice the cost. Pretty much the same thing with the blades breaking at this place after limited use. I decided to go back to Harbor freight and save some money. In my 15 years, I have literally purchased hundreds of bandsaw blades from Harbor freight. The downfall of each one of them was the spice. I figured this was normal. This bandsaw blade is amazing! I have only done about a half an dozen cuts so far, but with the absence of a visible splice, I expect a very long life out of these. Again, I ask the question, where is the splice? I have looked hard and cannot find one.

I've gone through a couple of these. They cut through mild steel plate up to 1/4" and 1" mild steel rod with no problem at all. I use these to cut a lot of 304 and 316 stainless and they even last longer than expected with those metals. I use these to cut thinner metal for fusing with a TIG welder. I have to do very little cleanup to get a nice, no gap fitup. There are more expensive blades which last longer when cutting stainless but at this price these are cheaper in the long run and don't cut any slower.
