I was expecting lightweight kitchen drawer type ice picks for separating frozen packages of meat or ice cubes but these are heavy duty! I don't know that these are the right tools for ice sculpting but you could definitely chip away at blocks of ice, and not only for drinks. Where I live we don't get much snow in winter but we do get a lot of ice storms. These two stainless steel ice picks could certainly be helpful in freeing up a frozen door, garage door, etc. They have good solid hardwood handles (redwood I think, but not sure). The tongs, of course, are useful if you are breaking up the cubes in bags of ice. Recommended.

These are heavier duty and more durable than I expected. The cutting edges come to a nice edge for cutting large blocks, and for shaping ice for cocktails. If you enjoy good ice for your cocktails, these are good tools for the job.
