About this item

  • Water Motion Sensor & Receiver - The poolside motion sensor detects water surface fluctuations, triggering the remote receiver to sound a critical alarm in the event of a child drowning in the swimming pool. The alarm prompts immediate rescue action with a rapid response time.
  • Wireless Flashing Receiver Alarm - The receiver alarm will give out sounds with LED flashing at the same time when children or pets fall into the pool or pond. The 85 dB alarm will be triggered when a over 13-lb-weight object is detected. Must test the alarm after installation.
  • 4 WORKING MODES - 4 different modes: Surveillance, Swimming, Mute, and Off. Press the button and move to change its working state. This design prevents accidental touches and is suitable for a wider range of scenarios.
  • 2 INSTALL METHOD - Method #1: Punch holes at the edge of the pool and secure with screws. Method #2: Use strong double-sided adhesive to secure it to the edge of the pool. (All installation accessories are included in the package)
  • Adaptation Pool Type - This poolside alarm is suitable for inground & above ground pool. The poolside unit is suggested to be installed in the pool less than or equal to 16x32sq.ft. The tube should be submerged under the water surface about 3.9".
  • Not A Life-saving Device - Pool Alarm is just a pool safety alarm system, but not a life-saving device! Any safety consideration such as adult supervision, lifeguards or fences should not be replaced!

works as described. It has a loud sound that you can hear! Alarm does sound when there is motion in the water. Had to add a bracket to mount it to the deck.

This unit is BIG. This may be good if you have an Olympic size pool but looks kind of out of place on a regular size residential pool. The other down side is that the pool unit requires 6 D batteries. I'm not sure how long they will last but it seems like a lot of batteries for this unit. I have other pool monitors that run on AAA batteries. The unit seem to work ok. It is very loud and will wake you up. Be ready when you plug in the receiver unit it gives out a loud beep that might startle you. Over all this might be good for a large pool and if you have small children. It gives one more layer of protection. No one should rely on only one level of protection for keep your pool safe from accidental drownings.

This is a great pool alarm. I got it for my dogs, mostly if they need help getting out of the pool. It was easy to set up, and the remote receiver works well even from inside the house. It’s sensitive enough to detect motion in the water when the dogs drop in on the deep end as they are still learning how to get out on that side and sometimes need help. Definitely a must-have for any pool owner who wants an extra layer of safety for their kids or furry babies like me.
