It is loud and it is sensitive with its proximity sensor.One thing tho is that the Controller does not work pass 3ft when it claims to work up to 50ft.I’ll have to return it if it doesn’t work for at least 25ft.

Excellent quality product here, I was sort of tricked into thinking that I could set a passcode. Sadly my child might be able to figure out how to disarm it (just press 2 before opening door). I didn't think it was fair to give it a bad rating because of my wrong assumption. The alarm is LOUD as promised. The accessories and supplies including the instructions are all good. The remotes work great, even from one floor away. I am going to keep this for the moment even though it doesn't have a passcode. I might keep looking for a different product, not sure.I got this as a replacement for a GE door sensor that does have passcode, but I was unhappy with the quality of the GE.

Haven't used many of the features, just wanted a loud alarm in case my child tried to open the pool gate. Been using it about a month and has worked without fail.
