Easy to use. Two tablets once a month keeps my a/c drain pan clean and odor free. Eliminates clogs and potential overflow problems. Very pleased with purchase.

Mini-Split drainage tray, 2 tabs every 6 months, for last 18 months. The tray is clean every time, and dry, so line is not clogging at all either.

I use a lot of these tablets throughout the year in my own dehumidifiers, humidifiers and AC units to prevent mold and microbial growth. These tablets are a necessity since everything is so poorly designed anymore, sometimes to eeek out .01% more efficiency, or save a penny in manufacturing. Stagnant water is a big problem, especially with modern window AC units.In the past, I would use Pan Tablets from a local big box store. Each tablet would take anywhere from a week to 4 weeks to dissolve depending on the water flow. This is not a submerged application. We are talking about a trickle of water in a drain pan application.I assumed this large bottle of tablets were the same exact thing at more of a bulk price. Same color. Same size. Possibly the same general ingredients based on what I researched. But I don't think so. Upon opening the bottle, I got a strong whiff of ammonia. The other brand has no odor whatsoever.Additionally these seem to dissolve very quickly. One tablet is gone within an hour versus days or weeks with the other brand in the same low water flow environment.So because of these issues, I'm deducting one star, and may need to go back to using the other brand after more evaluation.

Bought this as I needed a product to help keep AC drain line clear. Seems to be working, but will need to see how it works full season (and not sure how often I need to treat). Thought it was a bit expensive, but no real basis for comparison.

Used to keep drain clear. They work great. I still use shop vac once a year just to make sure that the tabs are adequate. All I get is dirty water and dead alge.

Best bang for the buck from everything I looked at...and believe me I leave very little rocks unturned before making a decision. You have to use these monthly because bleach once a month doesn't work. It has to be slowly released over time and these work well!
