This sucks. Seriously. The build of it is absolutely trash. You will NOT be held up. Please don't waste your money.

Waist straps keep loosening. I made a custom bridge from amsteel cordage and have used this saddle in the field. Straps keep slipping. The seat is too big and creates a nasty hip pinch. After 3rd sit the material in the butt started to rip. This is going in the trash.

I use this with lineman spikes to go up in the top of pines as the deer aren't looking up...

The RiteAim hunting saddle is a solid piece of gear. From all appearances it is well made with good quality materials, webbing, buckles and stitching. It's pretty big when unzipped so it should fit even large individuals and give plenty of support from your thighs to your lower to mid back.I'm going to outline a few negatives, but please don't let them prevent you from buying the RiteAim saddle because it is nice and comes in at a decent price.* The fabric is bright. I'm thinking about dunking it in coffee to dull and darken the camo pattern then washing it to get rid of the coffee smell before using it in the woods.* The saddle comes with 2 tether ropes (more on those in a minute) but no bridge, so you'll need to buy a bridge or make your own.* The included tether ropes are OK and they come with sewn eyes with plastic thimbles in both ends. Unfortunately--in my opinion at least--the thimbles are only 1/2 inch, which makes it very difficult to hook the included carabiners (more on those in a minute) through. I would prefer a large enough eye to pass the whole carabiner through, or even a plain end so I could make my own loop.* The carabiners are steel locking snap hooks, not "real" carabiners. I won't be using them on the saddle or tethers. Instead they'll be relegated to utility duty around the ol' homestead and I'll use some real 'biners with the saddle.I deducted 1 star for all of the negatives I pointed out. None of them are the end of the world and as I said above, it really is a nice saddle for the money.

Super strong straps and hooks! Very durable, saddle widens by just unzipping the seat! Easy to store and carry! Lightweight seat. I bought this for my son who is just now learning how to hunt!

Just got this a d have not actually used it in the field yet, will update when I do. First the rope and carabeaners that it comes with,, they are linemans rope and not bridge rope. You will need an actual bridge rope. The carabeaners are cheap thin and there isn't a chance I'm trusting them. As for the actual Saddle itself out of the box it seems pretty solid, and it's big. The zipper across the butt allows it to open up and expand the size of the saddle. It's big enough that it will go from the small of your back to mid thy Making it comfortable for long sits in the tree. It's a big saddle seat. The buckles are metal and so far seem pretty solid, all the stitching seems solid..over all for the price it's a good saddle minus the ropes and carabeaners which you're going to want to replace before using.I will update my review after I've had a chance to actually use it in the deer woods...but so far I can't see anything that says it's not a good saddle for a low price

The RiteAim Hunting Saddle offers a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, making long hunts from elevated positions much easier. The lightweight design ensures you won't feel weighed down, and the hammock-style seating provides enough support to prevent discomfort over extended periods. The two climbing-grade rope grabbers are a standout feature, offering secure adjustments and flexibility when ascending or positioning yourself. This makes it ideal for those needing quick, reliable movements while hunting. One minor downside is that it takes some practice to get used to the setup, especially if you're new to tree saddles. However, once mastered, the adjustable features allow you to find your perfect fit quickly. Overall, it’s an essential accessory for hunters who want freedom of movement without compromising safety or comfort.
