These are really good quality water color notebooks. They are a good size for smaller pieces and nice to have if you want to travel with your watercolors. My daughter loves them and she brings it everywhere.

First, I love that these journals have 50 pages and heavy weight paper. The eggshell color of the paper is easy on the eyes. The ring binding is sturdy and big enough for the job. These are nice chunky books.I've needed a good practice journal for a while and couldn't wait to try these. The other ones I've used only have 30 pages. The problem with the paper was immediately obvious. While the pages are thick and sturdy enough to allow painting on both sides, there is a finish on the right side of the paper that makes wet on wet dicey. I imagine any discipline that uses liquid will have less than desirable outcomes. It pills even without using the brush in any way. And more baffling is how good the wrong side is. It very much seems like the book was put together with the wrong side of the paper facing foreward, That carelessness is.why I can only do 4 stars. I guess you could turn it backwards and work it that way.

This watercolor paper has a nice thickness to it and doesn't bleed through. I like that it was sold in a spiral notebook and keeps the pages together. What sold it for me was that it was a 2 pack. This was a Christmas present for my two kids to go along with some paint sets and brushes I got for each of them!

The paper is about a 5x7 ( I haven’t actually measured it) it is thick, it holds water colors well and without warping. I love the option to keep it in the book or pull it out with the perforation.

This was my first watercolor pad, so initially, I didn't know how good I got it. This is a really good paper, although it is a bit rough and dry, so you need to keep your brush wet. That said, it is a really good and thick paper. And I like that with the spiral, you can easily fold the pages and paint on each side.
