Your cart is empty. The 2.5" nut setter bits from Hobby Tool Supply turn any standard drill into a nut driver. Made from chrome vanadium steel, the bits are corrosion resistant. The industry standard 1/4" hex shank on each bit features a "cut-out" section so they are impact driver ready. The internally mounted magnet holds nuts during use, allowing the user to thread a nut with a single hand without fear of dropping it.

Mine is held up very well, even when the screws we’re struggling under high Impact to go into Granite/stone. Based on other reviews of the magnet falling out, I super glued them in before I used them and have not had issue with mine falling out.

Bought two of these and both of them, the magnet dislodged and was lost, within a couple of weeks of using them. Passed the return window by a week.

Use this nut setter to attach my hurricane panels to the house. Works well and expect it to last a very long time.

I bought this to work on my Grandson's swing set. Much cheaper than named brand and worked and lasted well. Worth the money for a tool that you might use just occasionally.

I use my daily works great magnet didn’t last long inside. Maybe 2-3 weeks of use and magnet fell out but still works great. Durable, great fit

I'm an industrial electrician, and I found this tool when looking for a way to start and drive 3/8" bolts more easily. Specifically, this one gets a lot of use when building unistrut racks and mounting boxes. The magnet can securely hold your bolts while trying to get a thread started, which means you can often get a bolt into a tricky position much more easily than by hand. In my field, sometimes having butterfingers and dropping a bolt off a tall structure can result in having to take a long walk down several flights of stairs and ladders, back to the truck to get another one. This thing has saved me from that frustration, numerous times.I saw other reviewers saying the magnet falls out, but I have not had that issue, and I'm not particularly delicate with my impact bits. I've let this one get wet and put away, which resulted in some light rust, but it wipes right off. You could buff it out with some sandpaper and get it back to looking brand new.If you are an Industrial/Commercial electrician, you gotta get the 9/16"

I went to pull this bit off the nut I was tightening and the magnetic setter popped out. First time using it, no joke. Just brutal
