Worked flawlessly. Built to last, the clamps are even aluminum instead of plastic and have a nice feel to them. I repaired 3 damage hoses and they work with no issue now.

I bought these several months ago to repair two so-called "premium quality" hoses. The male connector replaced one that was stepped on and crushed, and the female replaced one that leaked badly. In both cases they did a great job with no issues or leaks after weeks of use. Although lightweight, these connectors appear to be considerably sturdier and better quality than what they replaced. I really liked the two piece clamps, which were very simple to install, look good, and are much easier on the hands than band type hose clamps. Overall, an excellent product and a great value.

If you’ve been to Lowe’s lately, you’ll notice that some of the hose repair kits are nearly half the price of the hose, so why bother? This worked perfectly and is made from rugged metal construction. It’s very easy to use and if you had to, you could take it off and reuse it on another hose if the first one wears out eventually.

The brass ends install fairly easily and absolutely do NOT leak. (I installed the fitting on my 5/8" water hose.) My one recommendation is that you have a socket--I used a 17mm socket--to go loosely inside the female end so that I could push the cut hose onto the fitting. I takes a modest amount of force to seat the hose onto the fitting before you attach the metal clamps. I also used a 2X4 piece of wood to press the fitting against so that I did not gouge or scrape the brass fitting. This is a great water hose end replacement fitting and I'm glad I orderedn two sets so that I have a spare on-hand.

I have a 100 ft hose that I had to cut the sprayer off to get it out as it was stuck. I didn't want to spend the money to buy a new one and having to throw this one away. I was glad to find this product that allow me to repair my hose and make it new again. The material is brass metal and quite sturdy and most of all it was easy to install. The coupling was a tight fit so using a little bit of coconut oil or any kind of cooking oil will help to get it to side in. The best part is no more leaks. No longer do I have to get wet when trying to water my garden.I am quite happy with my purchase.

No matter what quality hose I buy, if it sits in the sun at all it seems to crack. It's nice to be able to get a good solid repair. These are aluminum, while older versions I used to buy were brass, which I would prefer. It is easier to damage the threads of the aluminum I think, and it will corrode eventually. Also, there is not much space from the threads to the big fat clamp, so screwing on some spray wands can be a bit tight and hard to screw down all the way. I would suggest a few mm greater thread length, and it would be just about perfect.

I appreciate that these clamp well and don't snag on anything, like some hose clamps do. With a heat gun to warm the hose first these went on real easy, tighten down nice, and do the job without leaking.

I installed these on my hose end and my pressure washer extension hose. I'm not easy stuff like this, they get knocked around and, stepped on . These have preformed well and held up over the summer. no leaks and no issues. I would recommend these to anyone that has a damaged hose. With these ends I can take a hose someone is tossing out and make made to fit whip hoses for flower beds the hose runs at the back of the bed and is straight. simple hidden and no hassle of winding hose, or dragging them out.
