I am using this cable in my recording studio. Works perfectly fine with typical Hosa quality. Tough to go wrong with Hosa, as I've never had an issue with their audio or MIDI cables. And I have a metric boatload of cables in that studio...

If you bought usb the ends alone that come with this cable you would pay more than the full cable. Great quality and workmanship with a very supple cable.

I've had no issues with this, but it doesn't seem quite as sturdy as some other cables I have. As this will be on the floor, connecting a footswitch to an amp, I'm hoping this doesn't cause any issues. I have another similar Hosa MIDI cable I've been using for about a year, and have had no issues with it.

I've been more than happy with this cable. I have a spare bedroom converted into a home office and have been working on getting my keyboards and synths more integrated with my computer - my goal is to have a space where, when I have a musical idea, I can quickly get it put together and recorded. I use this 25-foot cable to run from my audio interface over to my music station where it connects to the first device in my MIDI chain. So far it has functioned flawlessly!

I purchased these cables to connect additional synths / keyboards in my home 'studio'. These cables function great for theintended use. They perform as well as other cables from other (and more expensive) manufacturers.I like the quality of the connectors, and the flexibility of the cable. There is no memory effect to deal with in these MIDI cables.I have not taken apart any of the connectors to check the solder points, but again, haven't experienced any issues. Would recommend these cables to anyone, especially at this price point.
