I really liked the fact that this item came as a color-coded pair. With labeling, it is easy to set up on midi devices and mixers and the throughput is high quality. Much better than the ones I used to get from a local expensive retail store we all know that recently went out of business. I highly recommend them.

MIDI doesn't demand much of the cable (since it's a current loop). This one does the job like any other.

This is especially useful for use with my Zendrum in the studio, where I often need to have both MIDI In and Out cables connected for making on-the-fly changes to note mappings while testing them out in order to assemble a sound set for a composition. Given you strap on a Zendrum like a guitar, two cables connected can get tangled up pretty quickly. This cable minimizes the problem. I have other cables by Cable Matters in my studio and they have proven to be well-made and reliable. Low price, high value - why pay more?
