One came broken, with many of the others poor or a partially swedged pins. Re-crimping the others with punch will be in order. If you install them with the " PUSH " right side up the spring pins heads are on the bottom, " dugh ". Cheaply made but " Ya get what ya pay for. "....

Not only are they easy to install but these spring type hangers/clips hold heavy items without slippage where others say you have to use tape on the handles to prevent. And most of all many of my garden tools have a 1.375 inch diameter shaft. Still no slippage

These clamps work well but are a light gauge steel. I am using to hold tools on my truck but they are a bit floppy and I will be replacing them more often due to use.

These were way cheaper than at the local big box store and performed well. I use these inside my landscape trailer to hold my tools in place and they fit everything from a pitchfork to a push broom. I was nervous they wouldn't be strong enough to hold the tools in place after going through a particular bumpy section of highway, but I can say that nothing moved an inch.

I needed a few spring clamps to hold tools, with the screw holes inline with the tool handle. As of Feb 2021 there are two listings for these "Bulldog" style clamps. The other listing had many more reviews, but this one was a dollar cheaper. Amazon return process being as painless as it is, I wanted to see it these were actually the same clamps, so I ordered both sets. Yep, they are exactly the same clamps, probably made in the same factory. The great thing about these though, is that they are packaged for retail sale in a clamshell WITH mounting screws included! The other set came without screws, just the clamps loose in a plastic bag. Curiously, these seem to have been intended for sale in Australia, as there is an Australian importer and website listed on the packaging. Get these instead. These are intended to hold things like brooms and rakes, shovels etc. I wouldn't go over five or six pounds, they are thin steel with a strong spring. The plating seems a bit thin, so if you need extra corrosion resistance consider hosing them with some spray paint, or keep a coating of thin oil on them.
