Easy Bolt-on Installation

- Secondly, lift the roof rack to the roof of the vehicle.
- Then install the mounting bracket onto the roof and connect them to the roof rack.
- After adjusting the position of the rack, tighten up all the bolts.
- You should expect to take up to hours to install this unit, based on your level of mechanical skills. Some basic hand tools are required. Includes rubber trim, detailed instruction and all necessary hardware for installation

Really like this roof rack!Was fairly easy to put together...some other reviews have mentioned the directions not being so great, but the only glitch I had was attaching to my 2024 Bronco's frame at the front, above the windshield. The instructions have you put a small angled faceplate on the wind deflector, prior to attaching the front half of the rack to the vehicle. I found that tightening the nuts from behind the wind deflector is impossible, so I had to remove the faceplate, then tighten the nuts, then reattach the faceplate. Also, those screws for the faceplate are tiny, and the powder coating seemed to have coated the pre-threaded holes, so it takes some muscle and determination to get the screws to engage to begin with.But, it can be done, and after a buddy helped install the back and front parts, it went pretty smooth. I have a cargo box, with a recessed bottom where the claws emerge to grab onto the cross bars. I had to remove two of the cross bars to allow my cargo box to sit in the rack, but the three cross bars that remain under the box are plenty sturdy to support it. After the front and rear sections were combined, this rack is super sturdy and secure. For the money, this rack is worth the small inconveniences of the directions. And, the directions come with a QR code that opens on your phone, so you can enlarge the pictures to see better detail than the written directions, which are pretty small. Other reviews did mention the increased wind noise, and my package came with a rubber strip, around 4" tall, that spans the length of the wind deflector. Because it is cold here, I did not install it yet and will wait for warmer weather to do so. Yes, there is some wind noise but that is to be expected.

Roof rack was well packaged and arrived quickly. Assembly was pretty straightforward as was installation. Great value, quality, fit and style. Terrific addition to my Raptor; increases functionality and storage (haul) capacity! I highly recommend this addition to your Bronco if you are looking for additional hauling capacity.

I bought it because it seemed as if it would work for me, the reviews were good and so was the price. Unfortunately, the rack was damaged in transit. I checked that all parts were there but each one was wrapped in a heavy plastic, I decided to leave them wrapped until it was time to use it. I assembled the rear section as per instruction and mounted it on the roof, so far so good. When I tried to connect the front section to the rear I couldn't get them to line up, it appeared that the rear section was slightly out of alignment. I loosened everything but still couldn't get it to align. I thought if I connect the passenger side it may help and this is when I found that the passenger side rail was bent, if only I had taken all the pieces out of their individual wrapping to begin with. Ironically, I thought I was protecting them by leaving them wrapped in the heavy plastic. So I decided to return it and that's when I discovered it didn't have free returns! I contacted Hooke Road, they initially offered me a discount which I declined. They then asked me for pictures, I sent several. Hooke Road responded by saying they would send me a return label, I packaged it up and dropped it off at FedEx and my money was credited to my account within a few days.I was disappointed of course but Hooke Road responded very well. It should be noted that it took a couple of days to get the return set up, I believe the person I was emailing is in China so there was a little delay. My advice is if you order anything like this check the package! The box I received was very heavily taped so the damage wasn't immediately noticeable. To be fair, Hooke Road weren't responsible for the transit damage and their response was very good. I may order another one as the rack itself seemed to be everything I was looking for........ except for the bent part! I would give 5 stars for customer support.

Very heavy duty and fairly easy to install but I did it myself and agree with the instructions that you have at least two people or even three to install easier. I also agree with some of the reviews that comment about the whistling at 60 and above, it definitely does whistle and if that bothers you I would not buy it. My feeling is that the product does a good job for the price, and looks great on the vehicle, except for the sound. If the manufacturer could fix the noise problem I would be willing to pay a little more for it.

Rack is made well. Instructions had mistakes. Also, if comes with a runner sound dampener. Great. The instructions did not mention it. It was in the box. Customer service is a joke. If you are handy and have a friend to help, great. If not, you may lose your mind.

installed it this past weekend and to my surprise it had every single nut-bolt- and washer. i put it together and installed by myself in about an hour & half. The rubber gasket that comes with it is a must, it took away almost all the wind noise. Strong and Sturdy..

This is very secure and really high end rugged. The ink reason for 3 stars is it can be very noisy in the highway because of how robust it is.
