Hooke Road 3.8L V6 Engine Throttle Body Spacer fits for 2007-2011 Wrangler JK 3.8L Models

Quality construction

The Hooke Road throttle body spacer gives your engine increased air flow which in turn, unlocks power. With the cooler and denser flow, your JK will see an improvement in performance. The spacer moves your vehicle's throttle body up 1/2"" away from your intake manifold, and helps to draw in a stronger and cooler flow of air. It is custom made to fit your wrangler, and the large bore design pulls in a larger volume of air.

Specs

Made of durable and solid aluminum, featuring an anodized black finish, this does not simply add horsepower and torque output, it also adds a bit of underhood aesthetics as well.

Easy Installation

It can be installed in less than one hour. In fact, most kits are ready to go in only half an hour, with no drilling or cutting required.

The install is fairly straightforward. The only thing you really need to pay attention to is to start the lower right hand bolt first so you can get past the upper radiator hose. The kit is not a complete kit, so you will need to buy the rubber gasket that goes up against the intake.

I bought this because I needed to bump out my intake hose for the River Raider snorkel I have keeps the hose away from the serpentine belt

Have a 2011 jeep jk that had throttle squeal at 2k rpm range, this fixed that alomost completely. Just file down part of a plastic ear on stck throttle body and bolted up no issues. Posting this to help the next guy.

Do not purchase this. I tried to install in my 2008 jeep wrangler and the screws stripped. I didn't even overtighten the screws and they still stripped.

Delivered on time and exactly as advertised. You may have to trim a tab off the throttle body in order to fit by the thermastate housing

Will have to trim a little off of the tab on the side of throttle body. Tab is not needed. Tab interferes with the thermostat housing after the spacer is installed.

There are a few styles out there. Not sure if the inside spirrell has any effect or not on the air induction.

Took me about 30 minutes to pull unassemble then install the new one on my 2007 Jeep JK Unlimited X. I did this mod along with a cold air intake filter at same time. OF NOTE, I needed to install the bottom right bolt first as it had to be worked around a coolant hose, then added the other bolts.
