Definitely made a difference. Small gains in off the line speed and moderate gains on highway in mid range rpm’s. I like the torque gain and love the way it made my flowmaster muffler sound! I already had a cold air intake. As far as gas mileage it seamed to give me a few more mpg but I tend to put my foot in it more now that it has more “umph” So that doesn’t help in that department. Definitely pick up a few extra washers before installation, I had one bolt that was to long and that seems to be a common issue.

Do not believe people when they say it wont work I noticed a huge increase on the highway staying at 60 to 65 was way easier my truck used to shift now it will hold the gear so definitely worth it and you need one if you have a cold air they work wonders together... I out it on a 4.8 chevy 1500 and with those 2 mods alone I beat my friend by 2 truck lengths and he has a 5.3 so definitely worth the buy!!

Easy to install. Unlike other reviews that said the screws were too long the ones I got were a perfect length. As for performance or a mpg increase that’s a wait and see.

Placed it on my 5.3l 2010 GMC Sierra, and it fit perfectly, have it behind a airid cold air intake and between the 2 it definitely makes a difference
