I am so disappointed in this Honeywell Humidifier. I had to call in the repair person to repair after two months of use. it did not add humidity in my home one bit I measured the air register with a humid gauge and no increase at all. It will clog at the drainage tube and leak over the furnish and basement floor . Get a Water flood Detector if you have Honeywell's unit.

Humidifier works well but the solenoid fails constantly. I have replaced the solenoid four times in two years. They now cost $60 to $90 dollars depending on where you shop. I can buy a whole new humidifier unit for $143. Ridiculous price for the part, ridiculous life span on the part. Fix the solenoid Honeywell or quit making this POS.

Your Solenoid Valve WILL break. This will either cause the water going into your unit to continuously flow (and waste water) or no flow at all. Normally, this is not an issue since NORMAL Solenoid Valves are under $30. This replacement however is $90 or more. That's half of the cost of the unit.
