I had to replace an old worn out Zone Valve and when I received this, I could immediately tell this looked cheaper. When I checked it by pulling on the manual lever, it skipped gears and when I tried again, it felt like the motor was not moving, it just kept skipping the gear making it impossible to manually open the valve. I compared it to my old one and wow, I could see Honeywell is no longer making the same product. I am just going to try and rebuild it with a new motor or end switch, the springs on my old one seem to be in great shape. I might have to switch to another Zone Valve manufacturer is this is what Honeywell is pushing out to consumers these days.What garbage.

This was just like original equipment for my Honeywell zone valve. The wiring is a bit complicated, but if you replicate your existing installation it is moderately easy to do.

Bought this in August for $69.97 as an emergency back up and used it to replace a valve now (DEC2020). First time installing one but it went well and seems to be working. So, naturally, I went back to order another one only to find the price is now $92.53. Would have loved to order again but a quick search of Google brought up two close to the August price. Went with one for $62.99 with free shipping if I bought two. Sorry, but you have to stay competitive to retain customers. Next time I need one, I'll check back to see if the price is reasonable.

Great that now you can get the operator only! I have a number of the valve assemblies that you had to previously purchase and not use! THANK YOU!!! The previous installation of the motor only did not last as long as the total operator.
