First purchase one years ago, part to Covid to fix my lower zone. Purchased another right away to replace my upper zone as soon as I realized it was going bad. No problems with either so far.

This device is easy to install. This, of course, depends on physical access and the guy that piped your system. Mine was easy. Don't forget to watch out for hot pipes. Only 2 screws to remove. The red wires go to where the old red wires hooked up and the yellow to where the old yellow wires hooked up. Some jiggling required to pull off and replace the head unit. That's described in the instructions and in youtube videos. I went with the name brand Honeywell part but at I can't say whether or not it's better than the cheaper alternatives. It was the only part that had next day delivery. That was a big plus in my situation. Compared to the $700 it would have cost a service man to do it, I'm not sweating the extra few dollars I spent.

My house basement heat zone stopped turning the furnace on. Called the local heating company and they said it would be $735 !!! Unreal. Saw this and decided to order it and try doing it myself. It worked great and for so much more than the company wanted. Perfect fit and works great !!!

Easy to install for any DIYer. Simple tools required - flathead and philips. Mark your 4 wires, remove old head, install new one, connect 4 wires and installation is done. Fixed my issue - bad end switch, and saved me an expensive service call.
