Bought quite a few sets, pretty much every shelf I have has these, work great, extra height is nice, and they hold up well.

Nice wheels and fit well. You can screw them in all the way or leave it a little out to even out the shel if need be. Easy to install, seems pretty heavy duty for most household needs.

4” wheels were perfect for HDX shelve from Home Depot. They fit right in the slot. And roll and lock very well, worth the money.

Perfect wheels for our 5-tier cellar shelving. Easy to install, comes with wrench and well packed. Good rubber wheels vs the plastic ones you see - makes it easy to move shelving around as needed without worry of toppling

I bought the typical wire steel shelves for my garage when one of the big stores had them on sale. I got a couple of different ones and they were great for organizing car parts, bins of screws, etc., but once they were loaded down there was no moving them around. We use similar shelves at work and I noticed that they were on casters. I found these and ordered a pair to try. These screw right into the bottom legs of my shelves, though I recommend you check yours before ordering as some may not be threaded for casters. I put a drop of oil in the swivel bearing at the top of each caster and another on each axle before installing. They swivel and roll very smoothly, even with a couple of hundred pounds of stuff on the shelves.A word of caution: The shelves can tip over easily if the wheel hits debris (a rock or screw, etc.) while rolling. I haven't had this happen but I'm very careful about it, even going so far as to sweep the floor before I roll them around. When I'm done, the brake goes on so the shelves don't go exploring. If you're like me and are constantly rearranging things to make room, these are a great value.

These are great wheels. They work perfect on those black wire racks. My only complaint is, I got 1 set 4 inches and my other set appears to be more like 3 inches. But I use them anyway. They roll great and supper easy to install. The little flat wrench they came with was very helpful.

I needed to replace one wheel on a 48” wide by 18” deep heavy duty wire rack shelf unit. The original wheels are nearly solid plastic. These are the same width where the wheel touches the floor, but thinner in the middle. These wheels are about 1/8” shorter than the originals. I considered adding a couple of washers to add a bit of height, but decided it was easier to just change all four wheels. May not be able to handle as much weight as the original wheels, but in this case they seemed strong enough for what I am placing on the shelves.

I ordered these somewhat less sturdy casters as compared to the original casters from Seville Classics, the manufacturer of my original rack system, to provide some mobility for the second half of my full height rack when I decided to split it in two to get 2 (two) approximately 40" high racks. The original casters made by Seville are rated at a total support weight of 500 lbs. for the full system, so they are plenty strong for half of a rack. When I saw these Honey-Can-Do casters that are rated at a total supporting weight of 350 lbs. I was not concerned with their limited strength since they would only be carrying half of the loads of my original rack ! Honey-Can -Do rack systems might be less heavy duty than Seville's but in this case they'll do just fine, especially considering the price and the easier availability than the originals ! The 3/8" x 16 SAE threads of the studs are a perfect match. So anybody considering doing the same as I did, making two lower racks out of one tall one, you can not go wrong with these. They are plenty strong for a 40" rack system as long as you keep in mind the weight limits of the systems.

I bought these some time ago to use on a 4-shelf chrome rack from the tire store but never got around to unloading the rack to install them. This past week I bought some Trinity Bronze 4-shelf racks from the big box membership store, deciding to turn two racks into three racks using the inner rods to support the middle 'rack'. So instead of 3 separate racks using 12 uprights, I have one long joined rack using 8 uprights. That left me with f4 unused uprights and 2 shelves leftover. I decided to do a half height rack, and discovered these wheels fit the uprights. While installing the wheels, whilst taking it easy on my recliner, the entire thing slid back giving me a table . Eureka! Grandpa has a table for his recliner. Slides right under. It's a tad wobbly with the trays both at the 24-28" height but it works great. And far cheaper than anthing I've been seeing.
