This is a modern sleek ceiling fan that is quiet and efficient. I had an electrician install it - I don't play with the wiring - and he completed the installation through the ceiling and exhausted with a flexible tube through the attic wall. It's been working like a dream for 3 months.

Most of the problem I see with a lot of these fans are that they seem quite large hanging from the ceiling. if the bathroom is large these large fans don't look that bad. But if your bathroom is small then you have to have something that has a much lower profile like this fan. It works great is very very quiet and does the job. Now just for info purposes the quieter the fan the less it pulls from the room just keep that in mind if you want to use this fan in a large bathroom. You might need something more powerful which means noisier, unfortunately you can't have one without the other.

The exhaust fan was extremely loud, maybe worse than the 10+ year-old exhaust fan that I was replacing it with. The sound is also not pleasant, a higher pitch noise than the usual sound of an exhaust fan so it can be heard from rooms away. It kinda works but it's not nearly as efficient or powerful as it sounds like it should be. Also it was extremely difficult to install due to the mounting bracket and holes being on the outside sides of the unit and there being no junction box for the wires included.Do yourself a favor and just spend the extra money on something better than this...

We had to replace an old vent in our restroom. It was a very messy job, no fault or relevance to this product of course. But after getting through our own hurdles, this snapped in quite easily. Looks beautiful, quiet, and powerful. We use to have a lot of dust but since replacing our old vent with this one, the presence of dust has dramatically decreased. Well made and so far no functionality issues.

For the price of this, you are getting a good quality product. It has good power and speed on the extractor to do the job. It was easy to out together and install. It fit just perfectly in my bathroom. What I did like about it, is that it doesn't make much noise. It's actually pretty quiet and can barely notice it on. Most extractors cam be loud and don't bother turning them on because of that. But I mixed this in with the shower light so they both turn on at the same time. The color is nice as it blends in with the ceiling white.

Wow, pour le prix et la qualité. C'est vraiment parfait. Ce genre d'accessoire n'est habituellement pas très esthétique. Mais, celui-ci est vraiment très sobre et se fond dans le décor.

Straight forward install. Works way better than the cheapo one I replaced, and is also quieter. I've found loud ones annoying, and whisper quiet ones a little too quiet. This one is a good balance where you can hear it but it's not loud.

Easiest thing in the world to install... Assuming the mounts are on the correct side. I had to get a little creative and drill 2 holes on the opposite side since there was no way to attach the exhaust the other way (wish it had mounts on both sides!). But that aside, had it wired up in about a minute, had it screwed to the beam and running in 2 more. Tested it by letting my water run full heat in the shower and closed the door for about 5 minutes.. this little thing does its job without hesitation. A little louder than I was expecting but it's also in a very small bathroom, also it does specifically state the noise level in the description but I have no idea how those terms calculate over into the real world so I'm not docking a star for that. The cover is a little flimsy but at least the springs attach to metal instead of plastic(very common point of failure in another brand). For less $$ than the competition and very decent ability to do its job.. great little fan, highly recommend.

Most ventilation fans of this type are so overpriced that it's embarrassing just to comparison shop. If you pay a hundred bucks or more for a bathroom fan, it'd better sprinkle pixie dust through the room, or something. This fan works well and is surprisingly quiet, although the bearings are oddly loud. Still quiet overall, but with more mechanical noise than I expected and less fan (air turbulence) sound. Fine, though. Draft is good. The instructions are so-so, but maybe a third of the time you get decent instructions with anything, so I guess that's just how it is. Don't do wiring yourself if you're not confident about it. This fan wants to be mounted in a particular way that's convenient to new construction and probably half of 'old construction' (ie, adding it to an old bathroom ceiling or replacing an old fan), and it really doesn't want to be turned sideways so the grille is on a wall, or so on. It has push-in electrical connectors that are more trouble than they're worth; if there's any problem and you need to disconnect the fan again, you'll have to cut the wires, which is not helpful. My fan leaked a lot of air around the removable duct connector, so I taped the edges. Otherwise, attaching the duct was no problem. The fan's mounting instructions recommend removing the fan from the housing, in some cases, but doublecheck your install because you may not be able to get at the screws to reinstall the fan after you mount the housing. That won't amuse you.For the money, this is a great modest little fan. Better than average. If you're installing it yourself and have DIY experience, it won't cause you a lot of trouble. For new construction, it should be a snap.
