I didn’t know how much of a necessity this was for our bake sale and garage sale. This made it a whole lot easier to give change and for quickly putting the money away. Before I would just put it in my pocket or a fanny pack. I was always digging, trying to find the right change. It made for a longer checkout experience for our customers. This just makes things go a lot smoother. I don’t know how I did without it all these years. I highly recommend it! This is durable and very strong. By with confidence!

It's a working lock box but i worry about the hinges and the bit of wiggle that is in the hinges and therefore the lid. I haven't gone so far as to try and pick the lock myself but I am confident in using it for some basic stuff that I would just rather not have people pawing through. The paint is nice, seems more like a powder coating so maybe that'll take a lot of abuse over time and stand up to it. The extra key is always a good call but I think the ring loop could have been a little stronger or bigger.Might add some things to the inside of it to make up for the wiggle in the lid but it's perfectly functional.

So disappointed my money box had a rust spot on the top of the box. I can see the paint is only one thin layer on the metal other than that it is a good product. The box itself seems to be sturdy decent thickness of metal. The lock is easy to lock and unlock. Come with 2 keys. The storage capacity is big. The top layer is a coin tray and can store some coins. There is plenty of space in the bottom for paper bills. Don't expect this money box can replace the function of a safe. Think of it as a drawers with lock and it is still easy to be break into it with a screwdriver. I used it for storing little cash at home and keep it aways for my teenages kids. It is perfect for what I need.

As far as cash boxes go, I would say it is a little less than average, in that the lid and hinge feels a bit flimsy. The lock is pretty standard for value lockable items. I'll tell you what made this box better, and that was taking the key lock out, and putting a combination lock in its place. Now I can use this as a delivery box and just give someone the combination so they can retrieve whatever I've left for them. The first thing I'm going to do is start leaving the lawn guy's check in this box, and he can retrieve it from the back porch. The box won't stop a real criminal, but it will keep honest people honest. Just don't buy it thinking it's going to be a heavy duty solution.

This cash box was perfect for my yard sale. My first thought that it might be a little small, but it's actually perfect. It's not too light, not too heavy. Locks easily with the key. There is an included tray for change. Under the tray I was able to fit 2 stacks of bills which was plenty of room. It is solid, sturdy, functional, and a good value.

Works well for easy and quick locking up. It would be great to take with you while traveling to keep meds and such away from children. It does seem like if you were rough with it that you could bend the hinges, but being used as intended they are strong enough. There is no lining in this box, it is just metal with the plastic insert to hold small items. There is room under the insert that would fit a phone or bills laid flat in addition to the insert. Overall seems like a good value if you just need something simple to keep people (mainly little hands) out of things that they shouldn’t be able to reach. In terms of theft prevention, I think it would be minimal because this would be very easy to sneak away with and break into. It is not fire or water-proof, so just keep that in mind.Only thing I noticed that wasn’t 5 stars is one corner (pictured) has bubbling in the finish. They are very small and I don’t think they will affect the performance or longevity of the lockbox, so I did not take away a star for that.If anything changes after using this lockbox for a time, I will comeBack to update the review.

I don't think this case has Fort Knox (or whatever) like security -- you can probably drill out the lock without too much effort. However, if you're looking for something to keep handy -- say, in a desk drawer where there are people or cameras around -- and have it contain cash or other things that need to be locked up, I'd say this is a good option. The only thing, really, that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the insert has several slot for coins or other small objects rather than at least one larger slot for dollar bills. Keep that in mind when ordering it.I plan to use this to "hide" it in plain site and put either fake cash (or a couple of $20s) in there, along with expired credit and debit cards, some official looking papers, and some cheap but decent looking jewelry, just in case my house gets broken into. I'm hopeful the crooks will think this is the only box holding anything of value in the house and they'll not look for the real safe. This would probably work well in an office setting where someone walking away with a lock box would look weird, and it being locked would keep whatever is inside of it secure. However, if it were jacked, I don't think it would survive a sawzall. But under certain circumstances, yes, I'd recommend it. It doesn't seem to have any more shortcomings than any other similarly sized lockbox would have.

This cash box is sturdy and the handle doesn't clang back and forth if you're carrying it around. The keys work fairly smooth after a few uses but the initial unlocking was a little tight. The interior is nice and spacious, especially if you take out the coin tray. One interesting note is that the coin tray quality doesn't match the quality of the rest of the cash box. It's made of flexible plastic and you need to set it in the box just right to be able to lock the box up easily (this may have been why the initial unlocking was a little tricky). It comes with two keys, which is nice to have a backup. Overall it's a great cash box, even with the coin tray being lower quality than the rest of the box, it still works well.

This isn't a safe, so don't expect one. Instead, it's a simple lock box that you can use for your cash, coins, and any other small valuables you would like to keep safe and private. Whether it be in your office or at home, this box can protect your items for you. It has a coin tray on top that can take loose coins and those in collector sleeves, while the lower compartment can store your paper cash and other valuable. It's made of fire resistant metal and comes with two keys. And at a cost of only $10, it's a very good deal.

Works well! The lock doesn't stick, no issues with the item. Heavy duty to protect cash.

This is a surprisingly lightweight but sturdy little safe with unique keys- (not just generic keys that come with little locks that you find with diaries). It’d be hard to break into without the use of a key. It’s the perfect size for what I needed it for: passports, money, credit cards, small electronic devices. It’s small enough to store somewhere without it being bulky but big enough to conceal the important items I wanted secured.

This is a durable little cash box, roughly half to two-thirds the size of a regular cash box. It's black coated steel, of reasonably good thickness, with an integrated keyed lock (two keys provided), folding handle, and black plastic upper insert. The plastic insert isn't capable of holding bills or a wide variety of coinage, but it has several individual compartments for separating different denominations. The lid is a little loose when locked and shakes a bit, but it holds fast. Obviously it wouldn't survive tools or a pry bar trying to open it, but it's enough to keep prying hands and eyes out. The handle is the only way it could be chained or locked to a table/desk/etc, which is a bit of a problem because it isn't as sturdy as it could be - it would benefit from a purpose-designed external locking point. At time of review, it's $21 CAD, which is a reasonable value considering the materials.
