This item is useless.First, it only operates if it is horizontal with the label side up. And, when I install it on the inlet of my tankless water heater, it does not operate.Spent way too much time installing, removing, reinstalling.Never would operate when installed.Also, the threads are some odd size almost fits 3/4" NPT but not really. It leaked every time it was installed.Possibly it needs too high of water flow to operate inline.Total waste of time and money.

THE GOOD- The switch works as it should as long as it is positioned with the label side up. THE BAD- The 3/4" threads are not US standard 3/4" NPT. They do work enough to get an adapter threaded on but even with plenty of teflon tape, one side continued to have a small drip- roughly a 1/2 cup per day. I tried several times to fix it, but it never completly sealed.Side note: the brass one found on Amazon has the same issue with their 1/2" threads....
