Requires an adapter to fit NPT threads otherwise works as specified and i am satisfied.

If all your pipes are NPT, you'll have to buy some GB to NPT adapters. Oh, and use pipe dope, not teflon tape.

I installed this to monitor water flow through our geothermal heat pump. This is simply well water flowing between 3 and 6 GPM. The unit is connected to Arduino. Yes the fittings are G1 style but so are nearly every flow meter, so not at all surprised by that.The unit installed easily and worked straight out of the gate with nice steady readings and no noticeable flow restriction at my required flow rates. Even though the fittings are 1 inch, the internal passage is significantly smaller, so at high rates some restriction may be observed.Sadly, less than three weeks in the unit stopped sending. Returning for a replacement at this point.
