Your cart is empty. Why use Thigh hip splints and braces?
When you've had hip or pelvic surgery or an injury, you may need to wear a hip brace during recovery.
There are hip stabilizers and hip braces.
These are both types of hip orthotics.
They also provide support when you have an injury or need to heal.
What is a hip brace?
In the hip-knee braces, a soft band or sleeve wraps around your thigh and connects to the hip part of the brace.
A hip-knee brace aligns and supports both parts of your body.
The goal of a hip brace is to stabilize your hip and pelvic area after trauma. It can also:
Balance your walk
Limit range of motion
Act as a shock absorber
Align your hip, pelvis, and knee
Redistribute pressure on your hip and pelvis
What to expect when wearing a hip brace
You may have to wear your hip brace 24 hours a day unless your doctor says otherwise.
Wearing a brace takes getting used to.
It can help to remember it's temporary.
You'll find that sitting upright is difficult, but that's typical.
Getting up from low seating may be challenging.
For added comfort, wear thin and snug cotton leggings underneath your brace.
Never let the brace sit on your bare skin.
Common conditions that require wearing a hip brace
Hip braces can keep your hip and pelvic area stable while conditions heal, including:
Hip fracture
Hip dysplasia
Osteoarthritis
Hip dislocation
Femoral head resection
Hip replacement recovery
Post-operative hip revision
In addition to stabilization, hip braces provide compression to your body.
Compression helps increase blood flow and reduces swelling.
This keeps the joints warm, flexible, and safe.

I tried for an hour to get this on. Couldn't get it the stay where it needed to be. If you have mobility issues in your shoulders then for get it. Had my daughter tried to apply it she couldn't get it to lay right. It had loose gaps. Totally worthless. Don't waste you money

Exactly as described, easy to get the right amount of tightness. Well made and comfortable.My only complaint is not the fault of the product. I'm short 5'6", and the connection between the waist bans, and the thigh wrap is a bit too long, so I have to wear the waist band a little higher than my waist. It works better for me than a simple thigh wrap, as the ones I've used tend to slide down unless I wrap them too tight (which restricts movement somewhat)..

This stabilizer has made a big difference in my pain level. It’s easier to walk and not feel all the discomfort with a degenerative hip. I’m wearing it before surgery and it may be helpful afterwards as well. I’d recommend it.

Takes awhile to figure out how to put on. More than big enough to get around my hips & thighs. I can wear it more than a few days for support. I'll love it IF the sciatica doesn't return.Unfortunately, the packing smell hasn't gone away after the second washing, but it can be machine washed and dried quickly. I would buy this again.

I’ma bigger guy, 245lbs at 5’9”, and My stomach woods cause this to roll down while wearing pretty quickly to where I didn’t have the hip support I needed at that point. I only wire a few times before giving up. It is as described though and shipped fast. Looks to be good quality.

The description states one size fits most however if ur a smaller person this is NOT the product for u. When I tried to use it the product was so big it was impossible to use properly.
