Not expensive was the 2 stars. I worse this at the gym, I have a dodgy leg. It slid down and out of place. I put it on under tights, over tights, on skin with shorts and it slides. No amount of tension will keep it in place. If I had a lower quad problem, it wouldn't be as bad. Poor design. It is a better knee brace than quad brace

It will slide down a tad but seems to hold well without cranking up the compression to a level that is uncomfortable. Slight bother to untangle the velcro straps, but they are what makes this brace work.

I used these for softball. My legs are probably too big for them so they rolled down immediately. Also, the velcro straps on the bottom and middle work better when criss crossed, otherwise they shifted out of place while running.Overall the compression was good, but they won't last an entire season. The straps are already peeling apart. I needed something to prevent quad pulls as I'm prone to them and they did the job for the last 3 games of the season.

Product is falling apart just 6 weeks later and of course 2 weeks after return window. It was helpful while it worked but with a broken strap the brace is now useless

I've had some injuries to my right leg over the last 12 years, including a fracture, knee issues, torn ligaments, etc., to the point of not being able to walk without a LOT of pain. From not being as active as I used to be, mythigh muscles have weakened. I wear an assortment of elastic leg "braces," which adds strength to the leg and knee.In my quest for ways to strengthen my upper legs, I bought this in size large (upper thigh is 23") to see if it would helpme to stay on my feet for longer periods of time. It actually does help. I want to share this info, so others can be helped. The large is actually a tiny bit big, meaning it is not tight, and perhaps a medium would do well. It doesn't matter though, because the 3 straps is what you adjust for tightness. The sleeve could be there to keep the straps in place (my opinion), and although a more snug sleeve would be helpful, I don't think it is necessary. What I find helpful is that there are 3 straps you wrap around your leg/thigh that you can make as snug or loose as you desire. The velcro is sturdy and will keep things in place well. The sleeve helps support my upper leg muscles that have weakened, and it helps with the terrible soreness I've had in recent years. I'm thinking of getting another one for my left leg. I think this is much better than those flesh-colored, elastic bandages (I don't want to mention the name), because this is completely adjustable in 3 areas. It is very comfortable, not stiff or heavy. And it is very easy and quick to put on. I hope it helps you, too.
