Carriage Bolts are designed to fasten a wooden face to either a wood or metal frame. Its smooth, rounded head is designed to eliminate the need for a washer and provide a semi-flush finish to applications. The square underside of the head is self locking to eliminate spinning and the need for a driving tool. Bolts are sized 3/16" wide by 3/4" long.

Carriage Bolts have a smooth, rounded head that has a small square section underneath. They are used in wood connections utilizing the square neck under the round head which will sit into the hole to prevent the head from turning. These carriage bolts come plated in zinc for moderate corrosion resistance.

Bolts are adquate and right size for the project/hole I needed. However, despite advertising nuts, having pictures of nuts and even the box saying they include nuts, there isn't a single nut in the box. Box was sealed, so just a case of false advertising in my case.

Had to remove some screws, that always came loose. So I drilled the hole a little deeper, and ran this all the way through, added a little loctite, and tightened everything down

Not a big deal as I know everybody makes mistakes but I got 23 bolts and 24 nuts. The quantity control should be better. That's why the 3 star rating instead of 5

They are just a bit thinner than I had envisioned, but they are fine. They hold up what I want to stay together.

Nuts and bolts worked fine other then the box was not sealed and half the nuts were missing
