Use a 3.5 inch hole saw or draw a template and use a jigsaw to fit these in your floor. I had my brother under my trailer after I drilled out the holes and he was able to mount these up using an impact driver. I like the fold down design and I can roll over them easily when In my wheelchair. 6000 lbs capacity makes these beefier than the trailer they are mounted on.

Very well built D-Ring with oversized backplate allowing multiple placement options and galvanized 3/8" carriage bolt hardware. Highly recommend.

I put these on my 10' X 5.5' trailer that didn't have the greatest anchor points. I read the reviews and decided to get the 3 3/8" hole saw for the installation......DO THIS! The 3 3/8 hole saw made these fit perfectly. They went right in without any slop whatsoever. Attaching the backing plate and nuts was a breeze and, after testing these out, I'm sure the wood deck will fail before these anchor points do. The entire installation took about an hour and a half, including the layout.

These are sturdy and well built. I used a 3.25” hole saw and then just filed the wider edges for a tighter fit.

Excellent quality, did not cut large holes as we wanted a tight fit, this method took more time to install, but worked out very well. Excellent value!

Couldn't believe how expensive these tie downs have become. They cost even more in the store with no hardware though. Easy enough to install if you have a drill and hole saw(I used 3.5", almost too big. 3.25"would be perfect).

Awesome items. I love these tie downs. Install was relatively easy. 1 word of advice, drill your main hole, then set down tie down and drill 1 hole and insert a bolt into that hole, drill another hole and insert bolt into that hole, drill 3rd hole and insert bolt into that hole and drill the last hole and put the bolt into that. I didnt do it this way until the last 2 and had to fight the bolts to line up with the plate underneath but they worked no problems. Decent quality and such. We will see how they told up to a winter in Chicago tho. Overall well worth the money.

They are well made, but the D rings are too tight to move easily. I had to remove one lock washer from each one to get them to operate. I cannot have them so tight it takes a screwdriver to pry them up for usability. It seems as though they could have used thinner washers. I bought a set from e-Trailer and they work fine. The way I had to remove a washer, now they are so loose, they rattle on the trailer. The above is the letter I wrote in response to a letter from Mike Kerstetter, Customer Service, Skip The Mall asking how they did. Mike got that email and within 2 hours responded with and answer that they would be glad to try an adjustment on the D-rings and send me another set to try out. I told him to go ahead. It's not often you get that kind of service anymore. The replacement set arrived and it was 100% better. Still not as smooth as one that I had bought elsewhere. But I needed 5 D-rings. This came as a set of 4, which left me no option but to look elsewhere and, yes, pay more for a single D-ring.Overall, these are very well made, sturdy and work pretty quiet and smooth. I am sure they will last as long as the trailer. Thanks Mike - Great Customer Service!
