Bike is great for the price only thing I have to fix are both wheels they seem to have been bent in transit to my house.

The frame and color scheme were a selling point to me. My bike had a rough start. Upon arrive by Fedex they mishandled the product causing damage to the front fork and disc brake. I know it was not Hilands fault and they did their best to replace the fork and such but alittle over a month passed and no parts. I reached out to them only to discover the part got lost. Would have been easier if they went to the US warehouse and took a fork off another, however whatever reasons being it just went that way. I knew most of the parts like the rear brake, cables and brake levers were cheap made. Other than the shimano shifters I replaced the rest. The seat was not really that bad in comfort so instead of buying a new seat I bought a seat cover. I was able to take the front fork bolt that came with the bike adding another nut and stretch the fork so that the wheel was closly centered. I will be replacing the fork because there is no way to completly fix it. Hiland did refund $135.00 for all the trouble so while I can use the bike I will have to do so carefully. I have found a few places with simular color schemes that match the fork but are abit pricey. I will continue to look. I know people have complained in the past about bent rims and such but they appear to be better constructed and tuned and were well packed in the box to protect them. Would I buy a hiland again in the future? Knowing the corners they cut to make a budget bike if they atleast make strong frames and rims I would. The only letdown I did have was how they built the frame to house the shock absortion. While the bike seems solid there could be a point down the road where the frame gives in or breaks. A simple redesign would fix this. Also the serial number that is suppose to be stamped under the peddle crank housing was nothing but a sticker that was barely clinging to the bike. I always write that down in the event my bike gets stolen, however the sticker would just fall off or be easily removed so left with no choice I had to physically engrave the serial number into the metal. Hiland you should know better than that, please stamp the serial number into the metal and no more stickers. Don't let the negatives keep you from buying, I knew what I was getting into buying the bike also knowing I would have to modify a few things. I am quite happy with the bike and I believe others will to.

Love the color, style and feel of the bike, however, was only able to ride it once because the rear of the bike makes a constant clicking noise that we cannot figure out how to fix. Also had to buy a wider, memory foambike seat because the stock seat was stylish but very uncomfortable.Unfortunately, the clicking noise was too annoying and we purchased a new bike at a local store that I am able to ride that does not click in the back of the bike when you are riding it.I changed my stars from 2 to 3 because Hiland was kind enough to offer to pay for repairs if we take it to a bike shop and send a video, however, since we already bought a replacement bike at a local store that rides perfectly, we’re not spending anymore money on this bike and will just keep it in the box as a back-up bike if our other new bike should break down.

Assembly was fairly straight forward with the exception of mounting the front and rear reflectors. However, that was not a big challenge. A nice looking bike, it performs as expected as long as you actually make recommend adjusts to seat, handle bars, and brakes. The frame is steel and as such makes it a heavy bike, but strong. A lighter aluminum frame is available for a significantly higher price. However, the steel frame is warranted for life where as the aluminum frame warranty expires after 5 years. Still, given the performance, it is priced reasonably. It would have been even more desirable had the front wheel came with a quick release axle. However, I think that can be added as an accessory.

Box was damaged. I was afraid we were going to have missing parts but everything was fine.
