Terrible product. Zero stars for me. I was told to purchase my own parts instead of this company providing them for me when this bike is not adequate enough to uphold 2 rides.

This is a great bike for the money. It has good suspension and gears work very smoothly. The seat is a little hard so we upgraded. I would definitely purchase again.

My 11 year old grandson loves it. His dad knows bikes, and he was excited he picked this one out. That’s what I care about.

1. be careful the product safety on assemble is bad....the bike shop said every pre-assembly connection was loose. It will cost you extra to go get the product safety maintained....(unless of course, you are a bike mech.....)2. the pro-riding version: aka the steel model....the pedals are crap nylon 150 bike petals, not 300(is a square pedal btw) or 600 minimums( which are usually lightweight metal for mtb.)you will have to replace them..(the bike mech said the tires were not prograde on the side walls and if I'm a hard rider i should think about changing them out when and if i have the funds to do so)the hand grips were thin. i had to replace them just after the walk down to the shopthe steel version of this bike is extremely heavy...on down hills, you have to use the breaks to slow the ride.(IT'S GOES DANGEROUSLY FAST DOWNHILL DUE TO THE WEIGHT) especially in a hilly city.. and even then the bike won't stop without a jolt stop...(which can throw the rider off...) this is due to how heavy the bike is.3. Long rides in hilly places are extremely difficult.. even at the correct gear ratio for a hill climb due to that heft you have to be extremely FIT and muscular to take a ride...the seat is even broken in. not all that comfortable. this bike needs a shocks mount seat minimumi will however give them 3 stars for a well-built bike( when assembled by a professional) and making a 10k value bike and parts for 250... with the exception of the petals and grips, and the side walls of the tires... the parts are high end madeI still enjoy the ride. even if they have to be short ones....and no i haven't busted out the side walls of, or punctured the tires yet. so for me they are good enough.the breaks work quite well outside of that jolt stop.... even in the rain...( not safe, can't be helped. it rains a lot here)WAS EXPECTING WALMART QUALITY bike n' ride....BUT I GOT HIGH QUALITY AND AND HEFT. AND A NICE FLAT ZONE RIDE instead lol...not an uphill bike though.....wouldn't recommend for enduro rides unless you are fit and well built muscle wise.....

Let me first say. I'm an entry-level rider with very little mountain bike experience. I live in a medium-sized neighborhood; I wanted a bike to ride in the neighborhood and do occasional off-road riding. A bike that offered very good stability and control.I have never assembled a bike before, but I was able to assemble this one quite easily. The instructions were a bit confusing, because instructions are included for several different versions of the bike, but once I acclimated to which instructions were applicable to me, it wasn't very hard. Assembly really only entailed attaching the handlebars, seat and pedals, and front wheels. All of the gear mechanism was already assembled, but you can adjust it according to your needs(I recommend you watch the video on YouTube). So far, I'm completely satisfied with this purchase!

This is the second one of these I bought as my 13 years old daughter needed to move up a size. These bikes are great. The shipping was thoroughly boxed and wrapped. All the needed tools were included along with extras. My wife has the red one. My 13-year-old has the black/orange one. And when it comes time, my currently 7-year-old will get her choice. I don't hesitate to recommend these bikes.
