I think the bike is very good..I already added a a few aftermarket parts but that's my style and also the bike is very light weight and I'm a big guy roughly 6'2" and around 230 but in a good way lol but I can't wait to ride it and get out there. I put it together without any directions I mean but I've been doing that for a long time but the look is beautiful as you can see and no missing parts everything was in the box so but great bike I was expecting something totally different but I'm actually beyond surprised at the looks and just quality. That's all I got.

All parts were in the box and was fairly easy to put together. The quality of this bike is awesome and it's not too heavy for my son to pick up himself.

I have been using the bike for over a month. I find it very reliable. I use it for road biking. I used to have a 24 speed 29” bike that gave me more speed and was more challenging. When I ordered this one, I was aware of the diminishing. However, this bike is challenging enough for me.When it arrived, it required some assembling but nothing major. From the beginning and over three weeks the disk rotors (front and back) were rubbing some against the break pad. I assumed that of let alone the accumulation of rubbing would fix the problem itself. This is important because the rubbing creates friction and it holds you back when going up hill. Easy fix. Read the instructions on how to adjust disk brakes and do it. You will figure out easily.I recommend this bike, especially to the bike enthusiast. Enjoy it.

Always sceptical about buying a bike online without physically seeing it beforehand. This is very good quality, super easy to assemble just don’t expect it to turn up on time. The courier company this company uses is not reliable but that’s my only peeve. Bike itself deserved the 5 star review.

Great bike , rides smooth, I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing .

NOTE: The bike I bought was used so my review may vary on certain things. The price for the used bike was only $160. During the height of the COVID-19, bikes were sold out EVERYWHERE! Bikes that were retailed at $250, were now going for $700! The high demand for any outdoor activities increased so high that the prices for those market became unaffordable to many. Seeing this bike at such a low price, and it was listed as “Used - Like New”, I immediately jumped on the opportunity.Straight out the box, it wasn’t much of a hassle to put together. Being that it was used, I had a damaged headset bearing and a missing quick release skewer. The parts weren’t expensive to replace and costed just under $30 to fix at a local bike shop, brining the price to own at $190 so far.Once the bike was assembled as intended, I was able to judge the bike for what it really worth. First thing you’ll notice is that the bike is pretty heavy. It’s not the biggest problem but you adjust to it pretty quickly. Once you start riding, you tend to feel that most gears feel the same, but still provide enough range to get around without a problem. The shifting in the front is a bit clunky, and you have to find the right sweet spot to stay on the gear correctly, but the back is pretty smooth and responsive. The braking is pretty standard, but does the job effectively. After riding around for more than 30 minutes, you most definitely start to feel how uncomfortable the seats are. If you plan on making any upgrades, THIS SHOULD BE THE FIRST!!Speaking about upgrading, I changed the twist to shift to trigger shifter with a brake combo. Twisting to shift makes shifting easy while having your hands still on the bar, but my hands would constantly rub causing minor burns which got uncomfortable on longer rides. Switching to trigger shifters also freed up some space on my handle bars which allowed my to switch to custom handle grips as well. The stock grips did a pretty job a it was, but aftermarket ones are as cheap as $5-$15 which can improve ride comfort on a budget. All in all, I spent close to $250 on a used bike, with upgraded trigger shifter and brake combo, upgraded handle bar grip, and a comfortable seat. Rides pretty smooth, and I enjoy it. Other than the seat, thinking of cons took a bit of time because they don’t affect you much. It’s something you can definitely live with, without having to get upgrades.Pros:Good for beginnersEasy assemblySmooth rear shiftsBraking works goodCons:Bike seatHeavy/BulkyFront shifts clunkyMost of the gears feel the sameLimited upgrades

I am hoping to change this review from a 1 to a 4 or 5 depending on the speed of response and the level of service I receive from Schwinn.I received the bike on Oct 3, 2020. On Oct 7, 2020, I registered the bike and sent a request for help to customer service.During assembly, the seat post dropped down inside the frame. The post is shorter than the frame. So, you can not just pull it out. I turned the bike upside down and shook it... still stuck. I used a wire hanger with the tip bent to hook it from the inside and pull it out... It won't budge. I sprayed WD-40 around the post... Still can not pull it out. I let it sit upside down overnight.... tried shaking it out, tried pulling it out with the hanger again, too.... Still stuck. No info or warning about this issue in the user guide or on the Schwinn website.I don't understand why the post would be designed short enough to drop all the way down inside the frame with no way to retrieve it. Or why they don't install something inside the frame that would block it from dropping all the way down inside. HELP! I don't know what to do!I also have issues with the disk brakes rubbing and the user guide assembly info not matching the actual design of the bike. Plus, the pretty rich dark red color in the picture is not the same red that I actually received. Mine is a light shade of red.I hope this matter is resolved quickly After waiting over a month to receive the bike, I'm hoping that I don't have to wait another month before I can actually ride it. Despite my initial disappointment, it is a lovely bike.
