This unit will not fit on my tank. They would have been much better to include a suction mount. Even when I hold it under manually it moves all over making it unreadable.

The needle floats all the way to the top for both saltwater (verified as 1.026 with a refractometer and freshwater. Useless.

This hydrometer is quite accurate. I’ve compared the measurements on this to my local fish store. I can get accuracy up to 3 decimal points. The only minor negative is that *all* bubbles need to be removed to get an accurate reading. Just spin the hydrometer underwater if you have the space or take another water sample and tap the bubbles out.

Most inaccurate readings. Returning this promptly. Get a $40 refractometer.
