EACH DIY KIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO:
Install the selected number of solar panels in a single row. Mount each solar panel to your preferred installation surface (roof or rack). Make water connections to and from each panel. Make water connections to the systems’ supply and return plumbing lines. Contains the parts necessary to aid in gravity drainage of the panels and piping.
THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS ARE INCLUDED IN EACH DIY KIT:
Panel Kit: Contains the parts necessary for installing a solar pool panel to a supporting surface and making water connections from one panel to another.
- One (1) Panel Kit is included for each solar panel.
- Each Panel Kit contains: (2) Heavy-Duty Header Mounting Bracket / (3) Strap Bracket, Stainless Steel / (3) Strap Bracket Flashing Base / (4) Hose Clamp, Stainless Steel / (2) Panel Connector Hose
Row Kit: Contains the parts necessary for making water connections from a row of solar pool heating panels to the systems supply and return plumbing lines. Also contains the parts necessary to aid in gravity drainage of the panels and piping.
- One (1) Row Kit is included for each system.
- Each Row Kit contains: (3) Strap Bracket, Stainless Steel / (3) Strap Bracket Flashing Base / (6) Strap Clamp, Stainless Steel / (4) Hose Clamp, Stainless Steel / (1) End Cap / (1) Vacuum Relief Valve / (2) System Connector Hose / (2) Pipe Connector
Hold-Down Strap: Fastens solar pool panels to a supporting surface (roof or rack).
- One (1) 100 ft. Bulk Roll is included for each system.
- For normal/low-wind climates; three (3) rows of straps are recommended per panel (parts included in DIY kit). For high-wind climates, five (5) rows of straps are recommended per panel (additional rows sold separately).
HOW MANY PANELS DO I NEED?
The most relevant aspect of sizing a solar pool heating system is based on the surface area of your swimming pool (measured in square feet). We recommend matching 50%-100% of your pools total surface area to solar panels (total square feet of solar panels). *For example, if your pool has a total surface area of 500 square feet, then 50% solar coverage equals 250 square feet of solar panels / 75% solar coverage equals 375 square feet of solar panels. From this point, you'll want to look at selecting a panel size that fits your installation area. Higher percentages of solar coverage equate to longer swimming seasons.

They come to box roll tightly plan to let them lay out in the sun for several days to straighten out before you try to install. Appear to be high-quality but time will tell.

Replaced a 12 year system when a new roof was needed. Overall, the system worked well, but required tightening the hose clamps each year. Over 12 years, one or two of the rubber boots had to be replaced. The hard connection to the composite shingles wore holes in the shingles. The panels held up well and I would explect another 12 years from them. I am replacing with Swimjoy which has hard connections between the panels and has clamps that the panels slide on.

My old solar panels lasted 30 years. They finally started to have problems. Springing leaks.These panels are almost exact duplicates. They connect right up. I got the connection kits and tie downs.I have the panels on a raised frame but the tie downs still did their job.Panels arrived in two days. I let them uncurl for a couple days and the replacement went smooth. It’s no fun to fight curled up panels.These seem to be pretty robust panels from the look and feel.I hope to get many years of trouble free operation from them.Good service, shipping and product.I’m 74 years old so I enlisted the help of my son to assist in the install and it all went smoothly.

Can't say I was happy with the price. But if it last as long as predicted I'm extatic with it! Once I read a thoroughly understood the installation instructions it went together easily. I bought this to replace an old failing system and it's working great. My pool size is 16'×42' and the 5 sections have it up to 83.

I am extremely impressed with this company and already planning to expand the system and to purchase additions to the system.

Product appears quality, all the parts fit well and work as designed. I am impressed with the system compared to a previous one I had that finally gave up. When shipped one little part was missing, an email quickly got a response and the part on a FedEx shipment. Came in in a couple days, just as I needed it. Another call to Solar Supply to get clarification was immediately successful. Appears to be a quality product sold by a quality, well managed, company.

This system doesn’t work. It’s unsuccessful and needs high temperature to work, so I don’t recommend this system, and I wanted to return this system they didn’t accept because they know their failure.
