Had to replace 1/2 x 13 threads in aluminum. Helicoils are a good product to salvage stripped threads. Their system works well and I have used them on many occasions.

It does Heli-coil things. If you need it then you already know they work and how convenient they are. This, like all other heli-coil kits takes a little bit of knowledge to use, but is simple, durable, and convenient.

The tower bolt stripped out on my Malibu vRide boat. This worked perfect to drill and tap a new set. It’s good as new…probably better than new!

No instructions on how to break off the tab. I just put it in tab first, then the bolt pushed the tab to the side and no one will ever know or see it and performance is same. All parts were good to very good quality. Helped me fix a cross member in a Ford.
