This is a decent value. "Heli-Coil" is a trademak name. By calling this "Helicoil" I think they are walking a fine line on infringement. Don't be confused between this and the original. This is a virtual copy of the Heli-Coil brand thread repair kit, except for the box. Which by the way, IMO, is unnecessarily large and takes up too much space in my toolbox. It's a good item to have on hand as long as it doesn't take up too much room (Because you'll probably want more than one size)

Decent kit. Package comes shrink wrapped so it arrives complete and not scattered all over the shipping box. Lots of inserts are included. Note this isn't the original brand, but an equivalent. I don't use these on a regular basis, but it's great to have in the tool box for when it's needed.

These kits are absolutely priceless! I use mostly 1/4-20 ant you can't imagine how many times I've needed to add a fastener to something or repair the threads. Every time I see somebody using a drill or electronic screwdriver to start a screw I go into Dad mode. The cool part is showing them how to fix the threads with this kit.It has EVERYTHING you need except for the drill. Whoever decided to put this kit together should get a pat on the back. Ive seen others that sell less and you have to buy everything separately and those are annoying.I love these kits!

This is a great kit for repairing threaded hikes that have stripped out. It has the drill bit for clearing the hole, the helicoil inserts, the insertion tool, the threading tool, the tool to break off the top used to insert. Everything all in one convenient box.

It works. After drilling and tapping one hole I get the definite feeling I won't be looking for additional replacement coil inserts without getting a new tap and drill. Something that isn't true of OEM Heli-coil kits. But that's okay, because I hope to not use more than a handful of these anyway, since if I'm using a thread repair insert it probably means something went wrong.
