Just your basic doorbell. Not really super special. Feels a little cheap and plastic overall. Hasn't broken yet, so if you just need a door bell it should be fine.

I own rental property and having a stash of these is a must! Good quality, work well, and reasonably priced.

Inexpensive replacement for broken door bell. My mounting holes lined up to the original so installing was two wires and two screws, easy peasy.

My husband installed it and from the outside it sounds loud but not from the inside.

This replaced an old, yellowed-plastic doorbell button that was similar in size and shape but illuminated. The black plastic body on this new one feels a bit more substantial, and although not illuminated, the contrast between the white button and the black background keeps it easy enough to see. For durability and simplicity, I was looking for one with a basic contact switch rather than a circuit board, and this one fits the bill. The replacement/installation took approx two minutes and the mounting two screws lined up perfectly with the holes in our trim from the previous button. Bonus: From the product photos, I expected to receive silver screws, but the screws arrived black, saving me from needing to paint the heads black. This button seems to be a good deal for the price, and I purchased another one for our side door.

There isn't much to a button to open your automatic garage door: you push a spring-loaded button and two pieces of metal connect (SPST). Because of this simplicity they rarely wear out or get broken. WELL, that said my 30+ year old buttons were disintegrating. These were stylish, reasonably priced, and sized to fit the spot they needed to fit (I have two doors & the buttons are side-by-side). They come with screws to bolt to the wall and the opener wires are bound to the button by screws. Really typical stuff. They should last forever. The BAD THING ABOUT THEM is that they don't have a little notch or cut-out for the wires to slip into. It didn't affect me, but it is a lame oversight to make in their engineering. I mean, I noticed it immediately when putting them in.

This simple pushbutton is very well made. The contacts are made of stainless steel and very solid. There is no circuit board or micro switch, which makes this very sturdy and should give many years of service. It will make contact either pushing the top or bottom of the white button, since there are 2 separate contacts, making it easier to operate. There is also plenty of room for the wires to fit in.The only slight negative is the screws are a bit shorter than I would like. I used longer screws but had to drill to slightly enlarge the screw hole. I bought 2 of these and would strongly recommend this switch. It does not light, in this case I don't need one. Also very reasonably priced. A solid 5 stars !
