These oven gloves provide great heat resistance and a snug fit. Theyβre flexible enough to move easily, yet thick enough to protect your hands from burns. The material is durable and easy to clean, making them a practical kitchen essential.

Long sleeves and temperature resistant. Using these for my gas grille while seasoning or flipping my food. Very effective with my char burners on at full maximum flame.

The glove is big but fingers donβt fit in making it hard for gripping on.

The promo images say 482 F for 20 seconds.. If you actually tried that, you will definitely be in a lot of pain. I use them to take a dutch oven with metal handles at around that temperature, and if I hold on longer than 5 seconds or so, the heat becomes unbearable. The price may seem good, and maybe they are good for some things, but they aren't useful as oven gloves.

Durable, flexible and a little tight. Hold your hand over the flame or grab something hot for too long you'll feel heat but no burn. I'm a Chef at a casino, just got these in the mail. First day they're holding up great. I'll drop another post in a month and tell you if they're still holding up.Update: After a month of use. Five days a week for 4-8 hours of steady use. These gloves do not hold up to commercial kitchen standards. For normal once in a while use of maybe two or three hours every other day, that's about it though. Even at home, using them to pull stuff from the oven they're perfect. Other than that, look for a better product if you need something that fits the demands of professional kitchen.

I didn't buy these for cooking or for the fire pit. I bought them for my husband to use to check the transmission fluid in our Ford expedition. Ford, being the nice guys they are, put the transmission dipstick right next to the catalytic converter. You almost have to rest your arm on the cat to check the fluid. Since the vehicle has to be at highway temperatures in order to check the transmission fluid, the cat gets pretty hot. My husband had absolutely no issue with these gloves. He said he could feel a little bit of heat coming off the catalytic converter, but nothing super uncomfortable. These were cheaper than heat resistant mechanics gloves and did the same job.

Disappointed to only receive one glove on this order, although all the pictures show two gloves and all the communications about the product describe "gloves" plural, which would indicate that there are two. Very misleading and the advertisement should be changed to CLEARLY reflect purchase price includes only one glove.

Here's the thing; if you're actually looking for an oven glove that will allow you to hold a cast iron skillet which has been sitting in a 500 degree Fahrenheit oven, and hold it for thirty minutes while you trek to Mordor so you may then attempt a one-handed handstand within its fires, then this is not the glove for you. However, if you are looking for a more dextrous oven glove that will allow you to pull out your aluminum tray of cupcakes, which has been sitting in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven, to then put down to cool in a relatively close location (perhaps on the countertop next to the oven), all without risk of shoving an entire thumb into a cupcake just to try and get a hold of the tray, then this works great. No longer must you be at risk of ruining a pie because for the love of all that is good in the world you just cannot get a grip on the stupid dish; the fabric is heat resistant and flexible, the silicone stripes help provide friction for a good grip, and sure you can tell that the object you pulled out of the oven is hot, but you won't suffer burns from it as long as you act responsibly. Just, IDK, prepare your trivet or cooling rack on your countertop or table prior to removing the hot thing from the oven. For what it's worth, I was able to carry my cupcake tray (from directly out of the oven) down the stairs and through two rooms to then set on a table in another room to cool behind a closed door away from my stupid cat who cannot stop eating human food.Use silicone mitts for super hot things in super hot ovens, and use these for your baked goods.

Comfortable, work as expected and look really classy. Don't expect this or any other oven mitt to be able to handle burning hot items indefinitely, but they're just fine for the BBQ or for pulling hot things out of the oven. A great thing is that they're not left and right, so I can take a pan out with the right hand, shift the glove to the left and hold the pan while stirring. They're little big for me despite that my hands are not particularly small for an adult male. Personally, I don't need the long-ish cuff, but someone else may find that a bonus.
