Bought these gloves for my BBQ but I use it daily for the oven as well. I’ve had it for a few months and remains in good condition. Does its job perfectly. Well made product. Would recommend.

We originally planned to use these gloves outside on the bbq and Traeger for my husband who does all the outdoor cooking, but they’ve made me their way into the kitchen when I discovered how easy to use, even on smaller hands. For my husband, they’re a new favorite combining many needed features into one product.The length they cover on the arm has saved me countless times from getting burned when bumping into the sides and door of the oven. I don’t find them to be any bulkier than my standard oven mitts and the glove gives a bit more dexterity over the mitt style. The gripper gives a decent amount of hold and the inner material give good insulation from high heat cooking.I chose the black version to avoid unsightly char marks, so can’t say how they have held up visually, but we’ve been happy with the purchase and overall versatility.

I love the fact that they are gloves and they fit nicely and work great for an OVEN, but as for the grill....I dont think so, I use cast iron A LOT and well I sometimes crank my grill to 500 degrees and wel that cast iron skillet is HOT to say the least. These gloves DO NOT work, I made it inside m back door and had to put the skillet down, so maybe 1 min hoding the skillet, the cast iron rubber grips work better so I decided to use the rubber grips witht he gloves and works out great. They come off real easy when a dog wants to play and they grab your glove and pull it off and take off running with it, but they are not dog proof when a dog wants to play with it. After about 40 uses the rubber on the gloves are really worn off, still works fine against the heat but just slips off more.

The gloves were bigger than I expected. The long cuffs provide some nice protection. I held a very hot container with these gloves and did not feel any discomfort from the heat. When I touched the finger and palm parts of the glove with my bare fingers afterwards I could feel a lot of heat that had been transferred from the container to the outside of the gloves. No heat was transferred through the gloves to my hands.The gloves have a slip resistant pattern that seems to work quite well.

Over the years, I've had lots of oven mitts. But now, I was searching for gloves instead, since the mitts lacked the dexterity I always yearned for. So after reading many, many online reviews, I happened upon these gloves, and they sounded good.I ordered two pairs, so that when one gets dirty and needs to be washed, I'll have a clean one ready to go. They come in two colors, either black or red. I got both pairs of my gloves in red, since they kinda look cool, in a Spiderman(ish) way! (Btw, that's the first thing my wife said, when she saw me wear them.)As far as performance goes, they have kept my hands safe from heat burns; and since they have long cuffs, they helped keep my forearms from accidental contact burns too (by my measurement, the gloves are 14" long from the tip of the middle finger to the end of the cuffs). They have a universal fit, and I have large hands which the gloves fit comfortably. What I like the most is the good grip and dexterity I get when using these gloves. With all the oven mitts, I always had a fear of the dish/pan slipping out of my hands. But with these, I feel confident handling hot kitchenware of any size!I've used my first pair for over a couple of weeks now, and it feels durable and well-made. The gloves come with many pairs of food-prep type gloves included for free, which is a nice add-on. I haven't had to wash the gloves yet, but it says to just rub some dishwashing liquid on it and rinse. I'm debating whether I could throw them in the washing machine. So far, so good!
