This container of flux arrived in a cement-like consistency, rather than paste-like. The brush bristles act like they've been epoxied together.Apparently, the product has had too much shelf life (seller - "Eastern" - neglects to rotate stock?) and the container's contents dried out.Suggest that you find another seller for this product, and hopefully you'll receive a product which you can use without hassle.UPDATE: Vendor "Eastern Welding", has very quickly responded to the problem and has a replacement on it's way to me. "Jeff" personally inspected the replacement bottle and assures me that when I receive it, I'll be happy with it. Kudos to "Jeff" at eastern Welding Supply.

Excellent product. Works great for brazing copper refrigeration connections. Bottle needs improvement. Lid seems to loosen in the van and will allow product to leak or spoil (harden) if not checked regularly. A small Mason jar will prevent this. Still would buy this before another brand as results are consistently great. Holds up to high heat torches well protecting copper against oxidizing for a clean joint every time.

Best Flux used for silver brazing brass to copper. This was the 4 type tried and by far the best results.
