1.PatternName:Brazing Flux Powder

  • Specially formulated Aluminum Flux Powder used with ER4047 and ER4043 brazing alloys. Activation range 842-1148℉.
  • Strong Activity - Removal of oxides on the surface of base material and aluminum brazing rods, removal of oil from the surface of base material.
  • Enhanced Performance-Increase the welding performance for the aluminum brazing rods, enhance the fluidability and wetability of the brazing fluid.
  • Makes Welding Easy-Reduces the surface tension of the material to be brazed, expands aluminum brazing rods brazing area, and makes welding easier.
  • 100% customer satisfaction is our first priority. Professional engineers and customer supports team is 7/24 standing by for answering any technical and other problems from our valued customers.

The important functions of soldering flux are: assisting heat conduction, clearing the oxide on the surface of parent materials and brazing materials. reducing the surface tension of soldered materials, clearing oil stain on the surface of Soldered materials (parent materials), enlargino brazing area, avaidingre-oxidation etr It ran he divided into solid paste, liquid and gas. .

Unless The office of weights and measurements downgraded a pound, pretty sure 2oz isn't a 1/4lbThis roll is tiny.

Went accroding to instructions and it does not work. Flux does not melt on rod even if rod is heated near melting point. If I put flux on aluminum and heat it, once it melts clear ready to put aluminum rod, rather than seeing the aluminum flow with flux on seam to braze, aluminum rod simply forms a ball and then flux appears to harden and nothing happens. I can do a better brazing job without this flux than with it. Requested a refund.

Aluminum is a pain. Tring to weld with substandard tools. This had the best ratings. I am not good enough to tell you about it. But I trust seller and company and that's sometimes all the help we need

You have to learn how use it after that works fine

This product actually worked in repairing a hole rubbed into an aluminum oil cooler. Once the base was hot enough the solder flowed well and made a smooth repair.

It's not very easy to use. It works don't get me wrong and it's a good value for its money. But the problem was the pieces that need to be welded together need to be way more hot then I'm used to, to the point they began to melt. And even then the brazing material didn't even want to melt unless it was in direct heat. I guess I'm more used to the brazing rods that are more like soldering rods. But I was able to weld 2 pieces together though. And I got it to work on a few pieces of scraps I had laying around. So I know it works. Just a little complicated

I have just received the product and tried it out as an aluminum brazing flux for joining pieces of aluminum.1. The instructions on the container are extremely sketchy2. I have not been able to find any better instructions on-line3. There is mention of technical support being available but no e-mail address or phone number that I can find.4. I have done a lot of soft soldering, silver soldering and brazing in the past and this flux does not behave like any flux I have used before (the base aluminum seems to melt before the flux.)5. Unless I can get proper information or have better luck I will send it back.
