About this item

  • SMART TECHNOLOGY FOR MORE ACCURACY: This hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector combines advanced photoelectric and electrochemical CO sensors that work independently to instantly warn you of dangerous smoke or CO levels; protecting your family from these 2 deadly threats with less hassle.
  • HARDWIRED ALARM WITH REPLACEABLE BATTERY BACKUP: This combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector is AC hardwired with 2AA battery backup, so the alarm can continuously monitor smoke and CO even if the power goes out.
  • INTERCONNECT UP TO 18 UNITS FOR FULL COVERAGE: You can connect up to 18 2-in-1 hardwired alarms, so when one alarm is triggered, all of them go off in your home at the same time!
  • VOICE ALERT FUNCTION FOR QUICK RESPONSE: When there is a danger, the alarm will loudly announce “Fire!”, “Incendie!” or “Warning! Carbon Monoxide”, which clearly expresses the type of danger, allowing you to quickly recognize and take action. For example, low voltage or malfunction, test, end-of-life, etc. Make sure you never get confused or miss an alarm by dropping it.
  • ONE-TOUCH MUTE FOR 10 HOURS: When a false alarm or low voltage alert occurs, you can press the test button and it will be muted for 10 hours. This feature allows you to delay dealing with the problem without interrupting what you're doing, such as cooking, sleeping, or working.
  • REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:Florida's latest regulations all residential and commercial buildings must require dual sensor (smoke and carbon monoxide) 2-in-1 smoke alarms. (effective January 1, 2025)

Combination smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector that is hard-wired so no batteries needed. Easy to see green light when working properly.

This was easy to install and test. The instructions that come with it explain everything really well. I like that it has a mute button for those times when I am cooking instead of my wife. It is loud enough to hear throughout my whole house. It is very clear what the digital voice is saying. That is nice so that you know whether it is a fire or a CO2 issue so you can respond appropriately. Small and sleek blends in really well with the wall or ceiling. I have had it for several months and have had no false alarms (not even when I am cooking, which is nice.). I like that it has a ten year battery. you are supposed to change these out every ten years anyway so when the battery goes you just buy a new one.

Installed fine and does work with my other sitter link smoke detector units that are hardwired throughout the house. However, I could not find the Siterlink brand anywhere on the packaging.

Easy Installation and Nice esthetic. Prefer the green over the red flashing light. 4 stars because it took a bit to figure how to hang the bracket so it would be straight.

This Siterlink smoke and carbon monoxide device is a game changer in my house. I live in a very, very old home and our carbon monoxide alarm doesn’t even work. I began searching for a new one, and discovered this two in one combo. I feel so much safer in my house, now. Installation was a piece of cake. The interface is very easy to navigate. The alarm is loud, and the speaking aspect is so helpful to clarify what alarm is sounding. I WILL be ordering several more so that I can replace all of my old, outdated alarms and rig the entire house into one system. When I do, the voice will give me more specifics about what area of the house is at risk. In this way, the alarm will notify me of what quadrant in the house needs attention. So if I’m in my bedroom, for example, and there’s an issue in the kitchen, having these rigged in every room will alert me to head towards the kitchen. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that.I can’t speak to the battery life yet as I’ve just installed mine, but I’ll update my review if I encounter any issues. So far, so good! And I’ve not experienced any unpleasant glitches, either.I appreciate the gentle and loud alarm settings. For smaller issues, not having the entire house light up with robot screaming is a giant relief to my children and I.The fit was perfect and this seems like a very well made device. I can’t find any fault in it. I really appreciate the sleek design, too. It looks so much better (and arguably bougie!) than my old yellowed alarms. I have so much more peace of mind now that I’ve sprung for this, and I’m looking forward to putting one in every room!

This comes with the smoke/CO detector, the plastic mounting plate, some screws for drywall or a box, the connector cable for power/data, and some energizer max batteries. I was surprised it came with brand name batteries, but reading on it apparently they say you got to use energizer max. That explained that. I guess it can run off of two AA batteries, but I'm not sure how long. I figure not that long as it does have a power plug it comes with. It does say when the batteries get low it will give off some warning. There does seem to be an indicator light that shows when this is plugged into the power. It is really dim though. I didn't even see it till I turned the lights off. Nice feature as I don't want my smoke detector being a night light.Build: This seems really well built. Really solid all the way through. The back cover where the batteries go to the connectors on the batteries to everything seem to be a notch above normal devices. It's like it's built to save someones life. I can't overstate how well the whole thing is built.Does it work? It does work really well. It is loud enough to be heard through a few walls. Really loud. It has a voice that says if it is detecting CO or smoke. Testing it with some smoke it did not go off with the tiniest bit of smoke. It had to get more than a little puff. It had to get to what I would say would be enough smoke to indicate a fire big enough to worry about. I say it is tuned perfectly in that respect. The only down side would be it didn't come with any manual. The box seems to have the most instructions on how to use. This might be a problem if wanting to network them wirelessly to each other. Other than that it's great. It says it works for 10 years too. Not bad.
