It took two people a few minutes to put everything together, but steps are quite straightforward. It is definitely made of solid pine wood (has a pine smell) but very light. Very cute but I hope it will last long in north Texas hot weather.

I was so excited to get this, my husband does carpentry so I had him put it together. Directions were OK. One part was missing but it was just the accessory hooks. There were lots of steps to put it together and it took a long time. It looked good butWhen you open the two doors on the bottom, there should be about a 4 inch deep space in there, like a drawer you access by opening the doors (To keep your tools, etc. In.) but when you open the doors on this, there’s a ‘tray’ directly underneath the doors,. There’s no space for anything, not even a pair of gloves.This is not what’s in the picture in the ad. I have attached a picture of the one I got. And to top it off when you try and open the doors open they stick against the shelf above. Some of the pieces didn’t fit and had to be cut or sanded or otherwise manipulated to fit. It’s too big to send back but it’s badly made and NOT WHAT IS IN THE AD. Save your money, this is deceptive advertising.

This potting bench is exactly what we were looking for without breaking the bank. I was nervous about the price being lower than most, but I'm glad I went for it. Its beautiful once it's put together, which only took about an hour, it's sturdy and well designed. I only have one problem.... Where should I put it and get to work LOL, we are so excited of the possibilities.

I am very satisfied with this. It is exactly what I was like ok’ing for. It was a little time consuming but very easy to put together. I was able to do it by myself. It seems pretty sturdy and it’s very multifunctional. The instructions were easy enough to follow. I love the look of it and the different compartments

I've seen potting benches like these go for way more than this one. At first I was a little hesitant because of the price but I just decided to go for it and I'm glad I did! It took me 2 hours to put it together. I was able to use my regular screwdriver but an electric one would have nicer if I had thought to charge it up, lol. I am very happy with the sturdiness and the look of it! I did do a clear poly coat on it but that was just because I wanted a some protection due to the abuse I will be putting it though - potting, soap making and whatever else I can think of.

I knew this kit would have quite a few parts and pieces, so I wasn't surprised when it arrived. The instructions were pictures with numbers and letters, with the letters being the screws and bolts, and the numbers being the individual pieces of wood, all precision cut so it fit together quite well. It took a bit over an hour to assemble it, and it is well made. In terms of sturdiness, it's not industrial strength but should stand the test of time as my wife's potting bench. It comes unfinished, so I rated the weatherproofing a bit lower, however, I bought it knowing that with the thought that it would give her a nice little project to apply her artistic touch in painting it.Bottom line - this is a very good kit.
