This is such a cute patterned mat! It feels strong and thick, and the large size is so nice for repotting your bigger plants! I haven't gotten it to relax out of its folded creases, which made it stubborn to button up the corners as designed, but I just used it flat and functioned great and then folded back up very easily.

I used this on my kitchen floor when I repotted plants. The new pots are about 6 inches or so. I have the medium sized mat, but think the large one would be ideal for larger plants. I still could have used extra room, but the mess on the floor was minimal and cleanup was pretty easy. I may try this when trimming my small dogs.

This potting mat works really well to contain indoor planting mess. It folds and unfolds easily, and the corner snaps work perfectly to keep the sides folded up. The fabric is sturdy enough to maintain shape even if you're carrying it, which is great. I ordered the largest size and once the sides are folded up it's really not as big as I expected, but it does work well as long as you're aware of where your edges are. (I definitely tossed some potting soil over the sides a few times when I forgot.) Overall it's an excellent addition to my houseplant files.

I love this potting mat. The pattern is attractive, the seams are clean and well sewn and the snaps are secure. It's also made of a thicker material than other mats I've used. This is perfect for repotting fairly large plants and makes cleanup a breeze. Rinses clean easily. Highly Recommended.

Excellent waterproof ability and easy to pour extra soil back into the container. It's awkward for the larger mat but I managed. Saves a lot of mess.

I am very pleased with this repotting mat. It has made repotting my plants a much less messy experience. The mat is easy to clean and folds neatly for putting away. It's a very functional piece much better than using split open trash bags.

This is my review for the Large Size SunnyPoint Repotting MatI received this for free in exchange for my uniased opinion. The current Amazon price as of 11/05/24 is 18.99 with a 15% coupon available. To the Point: Good Value, Good Quality. I would purchase this at the current price and be quite satisfied. I can see multiple uses for it, but especially, it's very nice sized for containing the mess of repotting one's plants. I did not check it for waterproofness, but I see no issues...it's sort of thick, like 4x the vinyl thickness of a vinyl tablecloth. I did not actually use it....my intention was to pick up some potting soil and use it, for a better review. However, that got delayed and I decided, at least, to open it up and see what it was all about. Well, I'm 63 and have been repotting plants since age 7. I could tell immediately, that this was 100% a perfect solution for repotting with a contained mess right on my kitchen table, and I'm planing on repotting my plants after the holidays! Why I chose this: I tend to put off re-potting my plants for years. If they manage to stay alive, I definitely don't help them much beyond watering. In the summer, I'm very busy in my garden....in the winter, it's too big of a mess to do the re-potting on the kitchen table. THIS is the answer! Now, I can get this out in Jan-Feb-March and re-pot without a mess! Why do I think this is great? The plastic vinyl is both sturdy, yet flexible. With this large size, you have a flat surface of 20" x 26"...and then the upward "flaps" that keep it contained, are 7" tall on two ends, and 9" on the other sides. So, you really have a workspace here! As long as the table you're using has at least a 20" x 26" top, you can use this with good support, and good containment. Many pros:-Soft "sides" means even short people can use this while standing at a standard kitchen table.-No major storage required: You can use your kitchen table, and when done, take it outside, shake it out, fold it, and put it away. Takes up virtually no space (about 3/4 the size of a student's school binder)-Waterproof, as long as the sides are all up, it will contain some liquid. (But, I wouldn't use it as a "tub".)-Plenty of work surface and plenty of side "containment".-Pleasing, neutral greyish-blue surface color and design. I like it.Other uses that I immediately thought of:-Occasionally, I like to peel or chop a lot while watching tv in my living room, but I always put a towel down on the rug to catch anything run away. This will be PERFECT for that! I'm watching the election coverage right now, and want to make 3 different kinds of Christmas cookies. I'm going to measure out all of my dry ingredients for the different cookies, while watching tv today.- I've had a lot of cats over the years, and sometimes I've needed to make a "make-shift" litter box in a bathroom for a sick cat, or one that needs isolating. This mat with upturned edges could successfully protect my flooring...and I could even just put a brown box down, perhaps with a plastic bag under the litter, and set the whole thing on this. For clean up, just remove the box, pick up this mat and take it outside to shake and since off.-Incontinent older pet...the flat part of this mat holds 20 x 26"...you could put a pretty big dog bed in this for your sweetie pie, and not have to worry that an accident would get to your carpeting.-Indoor Seed Sowing-Winter Seed Sowing...I'll be doing that! You have to get your pots moist before putting the seeds in, so this thing is PERFECT, to not be doing that project at the kitchen sink. Or, get the Medium size and do it on your counter, right next to the kitchen sink.Side grill table: Sometimes, we like to grill in the fall, winter, spring, when we haven't been outside cleaning the grill side-table. I think the medium or small size of this would be perfect for an impromptu winter grilling...just put this on the grill table, keep the flaps away from the grill (of course), but you've now got a clean surface to set your containers, utensils, on. For my grill table, my large pad is too big, but I'll be looking into a smaller size. Sometimes I don't grill in winter, because cleaning off the grill table is just too much bother.Picnics: Want a clean surface to do some prepping at a public table? Perfect! My cat transport in the car: I once had my cat piddle while in the soft-sided cat carrier and it went through to my seats. It would be great to put this down under the cat carrier (but the large is too big for my carrier)Cleaning out a Messy Cupboard...like under the sink. Ever have to clean out an area, perhaps after a leak, where you don't want your floor to get all dirty? Perfect!Christmas Cookies/Messy Crafting...under the little kid chair. Even perhaps, under a high chair!

This mat came at the perfect time. I have quite a few plants that I've been putting off repotting because it causes such a mess. I don't have the space or an area that I can dedicate solely to my plants or repotting. In the past I've been repotting by the kitchen sink, usually losing quite a bit of dirt down the drain, which I'm sure can't be a good thing.I enjoy my plants, but I've been dreading the clean up that comes along with caring for them properly. I didn't even realize that a mat like this existed. I was so happy when I came across it. It's deceivingly larger than I had thought it would be and I couldn't be more thankful for that, as messes always turn out to be larger than expected. I was excited to use this for the first time, though I wish I had found it sooner! The workspace is large enough to keep your plants, dirt, small tools right inside the mat and no worries about spilling anything wet because it's waterproof. The edges raise up once it's set up to keep any spills or messes inside the mat. It folds up for easy storage, which is a plus when working in an already small area, and clean-up is a breeze. Just wipe down with a damp paper towel for small spills or you can just take it outside and hose it off in the yard.I highly recommend this product due to the large size, easy clean-up, reusability/sustainability, and compact storage capability.
