The potting bench was easy to put together, comes out level and sturdy. There are shelves below the main deck to hold supplies and the main table slides open to reveal a plastic basin which can hold water for easy rinsing tools or veggies. The wood is a great quality, it looks great assembled. The only issue for me is the height. It seems too low to work at standing and too high to work at sitting. I'm 5' 3" and it's just a little lower than is comfortable while standing at it. Adjustable legs would have made it perfect.

LOVE this bench! It was super easy to assemble and looks just as pictured. It does seem like it will need a sealant, as the instructions recommend, and I'll apply it when it warms up a little. I was skeptical about the little slide-y top thing but it slides really easily and I love having the little bucket for repotting. The storage area is great and the hooks on the side are very helpful. So happy with this thing.

When putting this together, I didn't think it would be very sturdy or stable. It seems to be sturdy enough now that the whole thing is put together. I like the sink so the dirty can fall through and collect there so I can reuse rather than brush it off. It's a very lightweight bench, so I would definitely make sure it's secure if putting some pots on the top shelf. I'd be worried the wind would blow it over. I wish they offered a darker wood color option, but that can be remedied with some outdoor stain if need be.

This is a decent potting station, but i would not say it is of the highest quality, though about what I expected. Overall, it is a bit smaller than I had hoped and I don't feel great about leaving it outside for long periods of time. Luckily, we have a covered patio, so hopefully it will hold up for at least a few years. There is a lot of shelf and storage area, which is a nice tough. The sink/storage drawer is nice to hold smaller items or even soil. This should help me better organize my deck plants this summer and keep things a little tidier.

Pros: - Securely flat-packed to prevent shipping damage - Looks as pictured - All-in-one station for gardening supplies and care - Comfortable height to mix potting mix and care for potted plants on bench - Easy clean-up for mixing soil - Nice-looking storage and organization for smaller plant supplies - Durable for outdoors - Comes with hooks to store hand tools - Can store spray bottles off the sides and top frame support for easy access - Clear assembly instructions with large diagrams in each step - 45-minute assembly for 2 people, 1.5 hours for 1 personCons: - Must provide your own Phillips head screwdriver - Wood isn’t perfectly cut to size and/or arrived warped, making assembly and use of movable pieces more difficult - Uses soft wood - Strong chemical odor out of box - Table can’t be rearranged - Advised against exposing bench to the elements - Some assembly steps are awkwardI ordered the 17”x41”x43.5” potting bench with shelf. It looks exactly as pictured, though the wood quality is lacking. The fit for the sink and sliding tabletop is so tight that it takes a bit of effort to use. The manual advises against exposing the bench to the elements, but it holds up well outdoors. Mine sits under a cantilever for 2+ months and survived heavy rain, sleet, and 6+ inches of snow. Despite its flaws, this potting bench is an elegant all-in-one station for mixing dirt, diluting fertilizer, caring for plants, and plant supplies storage and organization. The storage underneath can fit misters, There’s a strong chemical odor upon opening the box, and I aired all the pieces out for at least a week before assembling. The smell isn’t noticeable after off-gasing, unless putting your face right up to the bench. The wood is soft, so have everything exactly where you want before screwing it into place! You’ll want to assemble only once, and use a manual Phillips screwdriver (not provided) over an electric one. The potting bench isn’t sturdy until fully assembled, so be very careful that it doesn’t wobble too much and loosen all the connections before you get to use it. The manual says assembly takes 45 minutes for 2 people; I did it solo in 1.5 hours, including lots of adjustments and clean-up time. There are a lot of steps where you’re having to screw something in at an awkward angle or around another piece. See next paragraph for assembly tips to reduce awkward steps, prevent mistakes, shorten assembly time, and make your life easier.ASSEMBLY TIPS:I highly recommend: Having 2+ people for assembly; reading the full instructions before starting; a large, open space; holding pieces together with masking tape (not included) before screwing anything in place; and using a manual Phillips head screwdriver. I’d also rearrange the order of the steps in the instructions to: Step 2 (ensure shelf #7 and plastic bin G fit, insert C screws, then remove plastic bin for last step); Step 1; Step 3b (do not install piece #10 until later because it’s often in the way); Step 4b (easier to connect #11 and #5 first); Step 4a; Step 5a (install both #14 pieces); Steps 6a and 6b; Step 3a; Step 5b; and Step 7.

I almost gave this 4* due to the less-than-stellar instructions. But once I had it assembled, I changed my mind. I love the finished product. It is the perfect size and height for potting. I’m a 75 y/o lady who put this together by myself taking about an hour. I highly recommend using clamps and a small electric screwdriver. Clamp all the pieces together before doing any screwing. It is easy to get the pieces mixed up. Clamping quickly reveals the missteps. As is, I think it also needs protection. I plan on using spray polyurethane before exposing it to the weather. With those two caveats, I highly recommend this product.
