I bought this for my 4 year old. It was out of tune. The places where the lights showed you to put your fingers sounded nothing like the notes of the song. I don’t know how a preschooler could learn to play the songs based on the limited information given. They really don’t tell you what to do with your hands/fingers. I plucked where the lights glowed but it sounded nothing like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on my end. They say to fret but don’t tell you what that means or how to. Maybe you have to have a parent who already knows how to play the ukulele teach the child, but that makes the claim that they can figure out easy songs from the booklet and lights very misleading. There were no directions on how to replace the string that broke. I tried unscrewing the box in back thinking the strings might be wrapped up inside but instead the electronic board alone was inside and fell apart (there wasn’t anything saying not to open it).

La boîte est arrivée sous plastique scellé mais ne contenait ni livret d'apprentissage ni sticker. Autant dire que sans cela, Il est impossible d'utiliser le jouet . C'était le cadeau de Noël de ma petite fille, quelle déception!J'ai écrit par 2 fois à Hape ( une fois en français, une fois en anglais) pour essayer la méthode manquante mais ils n'ont pas daigné répondre.

My son loves the guitar and he is only 2yrs old. It came with a missing tuning peg (the white piece on tunning).
