Calling this toy educational is a stretch. You cannot actually tune these. They just plunk as you strum. Which is fine for toddlers and preschoolers as a toy. It's just not educational. Do not buy these if you actually want a child to learn to strum chords. That said, I bought these to add to my selection of rhythm toys in my preschool classroom and the kids are probably going to fight over who gets these first. These are going to be a very novel addition to our class and the kids will love them. My complaint is that they are advertised as educational. These are great toys and would be fun for an 18-inch doll.

Perfect for kids i would say 3 and under. they dont actually play well but you can still get something out of them. Fun little nicknack for the kids.
