サムレストを初めて購入しました。思いの外小さくてびっくりしましたが、確かにホールド力が上がりましたのでものには満足しています。が、やはり少々お高い。せめて2500円くらいにならないでしょうか。

I know that sounds silly, but it matters. A lot!. I have a Fujifilm XT5, and some of my lenses are heavy. And awkward. I need that resting place. This is simple to put on and to get off again when needed. I can still use all the buttons and whistles - except the flash. I can’t use the flash with this on. But I haven’t had need to use the flash yet anyway. When that time comes, I’ll take this off and put the flash on. Simple. I also love the red color. My camera came with a red soft button so this just matches that - my taste. You can choose whatever color is offered and you want!

Saw a review about how it fit the XT3 as well as the XT5 and I love the grip with this thumbrest. The quality of this thumb rest is better than i expected. It has a tight fit in the hot shoe and feels like I would break it trying to pull/slide it out, but it handles the force fine. It also sits pretty well on my XH2 but the body shape is slightly different and won't engage all the way.

This is a pretty cool little gizmo if you are going to be doing some hand-held work with your Fuji X-T5, and don't need a flash. I used it to shoot some volleyball and it really gives you extra confidence and leverage when working quickly and rotating the camera. Fits nicely into the hot-shoe and over the eyecup. It does slightly block a few buttons but you can still reach everything. It's not 100% necessary, but in some scenarios I am glad to have it, Looks like it is part of the camera.

The Haoge thumb rest is a humble-looking little piece of strangely-shaped metal. But it is so because it is designed and built for a very specific task, one that doesn’t get the attention that so many other accessories get in the photography world. This diminutive accessory is designed to provide a resting position for the photographer’s thumb so that the user is given a superior grip on the camera. And, to cut to the end of the story, it does it flawlessly.OK, that may be a complete review, right there, but I am duly impressed with the difference this little accessory makes in both comfort and security when gripping the camera. And I’m particularly surprised at how the grip security is enhanced, even when I hold the camera body in my right hand, at my side. I seldom have the camera in my hand without using a wrist or shoulder strap, but once in a while I pick the camera up just briefly, and this extra grip security is a real advantage.I’m using this on an older X-T2 and the fit in the hot shoe and its positioning relative to both the controls and my thumb couldn’t be better. I use the rear wheel as a button for back-button focus, and I have no trouble accessing it, but the thumb rest also prevents me from doing so accidently. Now, if someone would just design and manufacture one of these that would also have a hot shoe built into the top, replicating the contacts below it, I’d be first in line to pick one up.

I purchased one of these thumbs up rests for my x-t3 for when I am shooting video as it gives me a much better purchase with my thumb. It interfaces with the camera nicely, and would look like a factory accessory if I didnt get a silver lever for my black camera (function is all I needed). It can be a little difficult to get off of your hot shoe mount the first few times, but once you figure out just how to wiggle it, it comes right out

If you're looking to complete that classic 35mm camera look, this thumb up rest will do the job perfectly. For my part, I am using it on a Fujifilm X-T2 (maybe one day I can afford the X-T5). This is a good demonstration that the "hot shoe" receiver is a universal size on cameras and I imagine you can use this on a variety of others, not just the X-T5. This slides right in place. No tools are needed, but fair warning that this fits so tight, you will probably need the help of a wide flat head screwdriver to push it back out. This isn't a knock, I feel much more confident with the tight fit that this will not come out and result in me losing it.Pricewise, this is a bit high, but not when compared to other options out there. It seems worth it. If I one day manage to afford an X-T5, I will be taking this with me for the next camera.

This thumb rest is solid, lightweight, and well made with nice soft edges. It fits in the hotshot tightly, so there's no worry of coming loose or be annoyed by play. However, for my hand, it just doesn't feel right. The curved part for the thumb placement doesn't seem like it's at the right place. It is not far enough towards the right side of the camera and is too far back (as in away from the back side of the camera.) The curvature radius is too long, so it doesn't really provide a good 'grab' for the thumb. The built-in thumb rest on the body is actually more functional, despite it being 'small'.
