This is a very comprehensive set of protractors and AngLegs by a brand that we have really come to like - hand2mind. We first came across this brand because of the Numberblocks show (they make various products that use that brand which our 4-year-old son loves), so we were happy to give this product a try as well, knowing full well that he will be too young to use it for true educational purposes. My first impression over this product has been great. The protractors are of high quality, as are the AngLegs. Even the bin that this comes in is awesome - it has a high quality snap-in sides for closure, and room to store even more things if you would like. Even though we are using this at home, the bin is useful for us to store some other craft- and math-related items near our craft table setup; I would imagine it would come in even handier for classroom settings. The AngLegs are well-built and attach well enough when my wife and I do it (though I have to admit that it did take some patience even for me); our 4-year-old son did sometimes (not always) have some trouble with snapping them together given that the snap-in holes are tiny and that they are flexible and bend easily.Other than that, the only other minor complaint that I had was that I wish the AngLegs were transparent to be able to see the exact angles on the protractor. I didn't take any stars off for this issue since I didn't deem it to be a dealbreaker, but I think it would be a good improvement for future versions of this product.

What a fantastic classroom set this is! Everything included is top notch quality, from the storage bin to the individual bags. Easily usable teaching tools, easily used by students. Everything is packed neatly as individual sets, and ready to hand out for each student. The bags are high quality and over several uses so far, are still holding strong. Thank you so much for such an awesome classroom math tool set!

Well, first of all - I LOVE the bin that comes with these! There's even room in there if you need to add more, which I appreciate SO much. I always need storage. We homeschool our kids so this package is very useful! This kit includes:15 double-sided laminated oversized cards (appx 5"x7")small plastic binder ring that sort of looks like a tiny shower curtain hook to clip the cards together720 angleg pieces15-360 degree protractor15-180 degree protractor(a small note on the plastic binder ring - it "slides" together rather than clips, so you might get confused a moment trying to clip it unless you read this note)About homeschooling - one thing that I have found with my children that I would have no way of knowing about other children - they prefer to have multiple avenues of learning when I'm teaching. Ie, multiple methods of learning. Tactile, verbal, auditory, etc. It genuinely helps them to remember when information is given to them in multiple ways. I'd guess that it makes it easier to remember information when it's pointing to so many different subject points in their memory by being presented in different ways. These are helpful for teaching the many, many aspects of geometry. For at least some children geometry is a challenging time as although math mostly relies on abstract thinking, geometry seems to stretch that even a bit further and it can be a struggle at times for some kids. Or even adults! This set is to help with those basic fundamentals in order to hopefully help to see the bigger picture. But again - these are mostly basic concepts. I likely wouldn't use these past elementary school, personally (it's listed as a 4th grade set, but the packages say ages 5-13 on them). With bright, beautiful primary colors and plastic that takes some serious abuse before it even seems to consider snapping, this is a kit that was made with kids in mind. A huge storage bin with extra room for additional materials that you might like to store with this set, and PLENTY for 15 sets - you could even pair kids up in a regular classroom and use this for an entire classroom of kids! This set could help with certain aspects of geometry:developing spatial awareness by thinking about how angles affect architecture, art, and engineeringdevelop problem-solving skills by finding missing angles and determining sums of anglesunderstanding of angle measurementidentifying and classifying anglesunderstanding how angles are used and their importancebasic geometric mathOverall I believe that this is a great set - there is enough there for an entire classroom or in my case a homeschool classroom (or even a co-op!). This is a REALLY good quality set in my opinion. There is a lot of room in the storage bin (which is sturdy), the anglegs themselves are sturdy and pliable but tough, and the protractors are in two different sizes to take into account how you'll use them. The activity cards are large and easy-to-read as well as being sturdy themselves. I wrote on mine with dry erase marker and the marks came right off! I highly recommend this set - I was so excited to get it and this year we'll use it!

This is such a high quality set of manipulatives that will stand the test of time. My students can be rough with materials but these seem pretty indestructible. These will be SO HELPFUL for learning hands-on when three side lengths can form a triangle. I love that I can use them for many topics, from complimentary & supplementary angels, congruent angles, perimeter, how triangles side lengths and angle measures are related ... and so many more. The prices all snap together, including on the 360° protractor (clear in the pics). There are enough sets that I could use them as a class set and give each group of 2 or 3 students a set to share. It comes with a "small group set" that includes a few extra goodies, including activity cards that were helpful for me to see how else I could use them.It all comes in a really nice container with a snap on lid, and each set is in a thick plastic bag. I can't recommend this enough for math teachers of any level who covers any geometric learning standards.

Math is a wonderful subject to me. One of the ways I like Math is when it becomes real world and you can see it. Everything in math makes sense logically, and a set like this helps you see it differently. I like the idea of learning in different ways with a variety of examples, and this gives way to that. I like how easy it is to use, it’s easy to demonstrate and work with, and it’s simple.
