This wheel is nicely made and runs smooth and quiet as long as it’s away from the walls of the cage. Our mice run on this thing constantly! Definitely way too small for teddy bear/syrian hamsters, rats or anything bigger than mice.

Was great a first but I clean out our wheels daily since they get so much poop and pee in there. Well this wheel has metal insides that I’m sure help it spin nicely until it gets rusty from having to get rinsed so often. But of a design flaw. After 1 week, it became too stiff and they won’t use it anymore so I have to buy a different one.

I recently got a very young roborovski dwarf hamster and this wheel is perfect for her. She's about an inch long and 20 grams, and was able to push this wheel. It's silent and the plastic makes it very easy to clean.

Bought this for a tiny rescue mouse , he is so small as you can see, yet it spins very easy with no noise. The wheel height easily adjusts so he could walk right in when he was just learning. With the base below the wood chips it's very stable and not tippy at all. This size perfect for mice or dwarf hamsters.

The wheel is great to use when secured to the hamster's habitat wall.I recommend use for this purpose!I do not recommend for use on the included stand because the top portion is heavyand prone to injure hamsters if they tip it over trying to use it incorrectly as hamstersare like curious kids and like to climb on anything. Reason for two less stars.The wheel itself is quiet and excellent quality!
