This canopy was a disappointment. The glass pieces are not cut precisely, leaving uneven gaps that allow evaporation and fish to jump out. The hinges feel cheap and flimsy, and they don’t align well. The packaging was also poor, and mine arrived with a slight chip on one of the edges. For the price, I expected better durability and a more precise fit.

It is humbling to admit but there is nothing wrong with the size of this lid! People just like me did not carefully read the very clear instructions that state this lid will literally not fit certain tanks including Marineland, Perfecto, and Deep Blue. I completely missed that warning -- not even sure how because normally I am a very careful reader. You will need to order the 22.68" lid for Marineland instead of this 22.08" lid. That is why I am leaving this review as a warning to others and in fairness to the seller. Please take note: I even measured my 75-gallon Marineland before ordering the 22.08" but the curvature of the interior lid shelf throws you off and makes a casual measurement seem like 22.08" will work. Unfortunately, because that curvature is not present on all sides of the shelf this lid will not work.This a great lid for the right kind of tank and you can buy it with confidence. If the seller reads this, I suggest making the entire warning sentence all CAPS and including some form of warning in the title of the product. It might seem excessive, but the issue here is not one of intelligence but alert fatigue and warning desensitization. Essentially, because so many orders have so much non-essential information you REALLY NEED TO GRAB SOMEONE'S ATTENTION to reduce the number of folks accidentally ordering the wrong size lid. Sorry seller! For what it is worth I have tried to set the record straight.

I measured before buying and it was supposed to be a perfect fit. Ended up being too short by about 1cm- thankfully I was able to Jerry rig with some old light clips I had to extend out and hold the glass. It’s great for the price but disappointed on the inaccurate measuring

Fit perfectly on my 75 gallon with center support. This is my second 75 gal and I have the Aqueon brand hinged top on my older tank. With Aqueon the glass is a bit thicker and the stick on handle is more substantial, making the H2pro not have the same heavy duty feel. However the H2pro version looks fine and will do the same job as the Aqueon. I could not even find this particular size on the Aqueon website even though they still make the tank.

For the price it is a good aquarium lid. But it was 1.5 centimetres too short to properly fit my SeaPora aquarium. So lucky I was able to MacGyver a shim using the vinyl backstrip to widen it by 1.5cm to properly fit on the aquarium lid. And yes I pre measured the aquarium before buying the lid and my tape measure said it would fit but be a little loose. Without the shims the lid would fall into the aquarium. But luckily I had the tools to remedy this problem. Overall it is still cheaper than buying a lid at my local fish store so I’ll still give it a 4/5 rating, some assembly required.

I am very happy with the fit and that the back inserts are plastic. This allowed me to be able to easily modify/ cut to make room for wires and air filter tubes

I bought this hood for my 90gal aquarium build. I have been slowly piecing this project together and was looking forward to the all glass hood and was initially worried that I may have chosen the wrong brand as what arrived in the box is not what the product description stated. It appeared as though the wrong hood was placed in the box. I thought this was strange, quickly notified Amazon and had a replacement within days.When the new box arrived I was skeptical but once opened I found it to be correct! A small hiccup but quickly corrected. I have a 55gal tank already running and wished I had purchased this hood for that tank (which has a combination of black plastic and glass -a Petco hood) and plan on replacing it soon. This is made well and assembles easily. I had none of the issues or difficulties others mentioned. It was well padded for shipping.The back of the photo does not show the plastic installed because I will be cutting to fit my filtration and I have not yet affixed the handles yet either.22.08 x 16.57 x 0.16in was a perfect fit for my 90gal. I will definitely be coming back to this brand for future tanks.

works great on a old 90 that didn't have the center bar so I cut tile edging to fit and used it as the bar and it worked great. Bought it again for a 90 with the bar but it is not big enough but then I will do the same thing with the tile edging and it will also work for that tank also.

These are very good quality lids. The packaging is fantastic and I see very little chance they could damage in shipping. They provide extra handles just in case which is nice. EVEN DOWN TO THE TWO SIDED TAPE THAT HOLD THE HANDLES TO THE LIP TOP! Double sided tape can sometimes be hard to work with and can get messed up when you try to peel the plastic off to stick it to surface. The tape provided has a little tab that makes it easy to peel and stick. Its the little details that differentiate poor/average quality products with exceptional products. They fit my 75 gallon perfectly. People complaining about fit probably didn't pat attention to the description. Aqueon has different measurements from Marineland tanks. Just buy the correct ones and you'll be fine. Also, as far as the plastic back piece being hard to fit on lid...Mine slid right on with no problem so that might be an issue that they have fixed. No reason not to purchase these.
